Unit 3207 - Shell-ebrating Life - This is a charming Gulf Front Unit at the Private Gated Community of Gulf Shores Plantation (East). The next time you vacation on the Alabama Gulf Coast, relax and escape the crowds at our charming 1 bedroom 1 bath condo that sleeps 6. You will love the Plantation Resort, where the condo is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula right next door to Kiva Dunes Golf Course.

This newly renovated and decorated, condo is located beachfront with a view that is to die for! Enjoy the nicely furnished living room with a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the unit has 2 built-in bunk beds.

You will feel right at home with Wireless Internet, Cable and Smart TV, and DVD. The well equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals when staying in, including refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and cooking utensils.

During your stay you will enjoy the beautiful grounds and the four thousand feet of private, uncrowded, and unspoiled white sandy beaches.

Choose between the outdoor beachside pools or indoor pools. There are 2 Outdoor Pools (one Indoor) on the property for your enjoyment. Stay in shape with a workout in the fitness center or enjoy one of several relaxing Hot Tub.

The complex features charcoal BBQ grills, tennis courts, basketball, shuffle board, and much more.

Attractions include various golf courses, Bellingrath Gardens, 65 landscaped acres in the midst of a 905-acre semi-tropical rain forest. Great little condo on the beach front

What a treat to find a one bedroom condo that faces the beach. The views from the balcony were fabulous, and the beach was easily accessible on the boardwalk. Everything was clean and comfortable, although the bed and pillows were not to my liking, but you can't please everyone. I would recommend this condo.

Love the View

We enjoyed our stay! Condo was nice and cozy. Kids loved the indoor pool, water was nice and cold. Beach access is a huge plus here and the view from the balcony was amazing. We watched dolphins from the porch! We loved the area, very family friendly. Kids loved the bunk beds which were perfect size for my 10 & 5 yr old. Pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable but they rarely are, it was great to have for another bed. Laundry room is close by if needed also. We’ve already discussed coming back!

Great location! Needs a little more cleaning

The location is fantastic! Beach and pools very close. We loved the balcony looking at the ocean! The only issue we had was with the dirty dishes. The owner of the space asks whoever is staying to wash the dishes before leaving (no dishwasher). I guess nobody double-checked after the people who stayed before us because most of the dishes in the cabinets were still dirty. We washed them before and after using them just in case. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Little birthday getaway

It was just as advertised - clean and great location! The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working when we arrived at the location but Mrs. Jackie was very quick in action to get security team to assist.

Our Stay

When we arrived to the condo we instantly noticed that it had not been cleaned. It looked like the only thing that had been done was the beds. There were crumbs all over the counter, table, and floor. I sent an email as instructed and received no response at all. I had to go out and buy my own cleaning supplies and I had to vacuum, sweep, mop and wipe everything down. I should not have had to do that. We liked the location and easy access to the pool. My kids had a great time. Other than the condo being dirty when we arrived, we still enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic views!

The best part of this condo is the location and the view from the balcony. We really enjoyed the time we spent here. The condo is really close to a nice, heated pool, and just past the pool is a boardwalk leading right to the beach. The condo was cute and clean and matched the description except that there is only a Keurig (brand new, works great...just bring K-cups) but no actual coffee pot.

Break from Reality

The husband and I love this area, and we needed a break from reality. We usually rent a house for a week but didn't have time for that. Had never stayed in a condo so we decided to give it a try. Nice location with beautiful view! Downside you couldn't hear the ocean for the exhaust fan from Sassy Bass. This condo has plenty of space for 2 people. Bunks in the hallway are for tiny people or stick figures. For the coffee drinkers...you have a good coffee pot maker, so plan accordingly if your used to using a Keurig. We would stay here again.

Great place!

Me and my little family that includes a 10 year old 8 year old and 2 year old came for fall break this was the best condo.location was amazing for us not having to walk very far to the pool or the beach. The condo was very clean and exactly as described and was plenty for our family. I loved how easy check in was and Jackie was super responsive if you needed help. We felt very safe our family will definitely stay there again

5 star location, mediocre accomodations

First, I just want to say that the location of this condo is amazing, which was our highest priority in choosing a place to stay. The balcony provides an unobstructed view of the protected beachfront and ocean. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the morning watching the wildlife and the waves. There was easy access to the beautiful beach and it wasn't too crowded. The Fort Morgan area seems to be less developed than some of the other gulf coast destinations, which is an added bonus. With that said, our experience of the property itself was mediocre. When we first arrived, we noticed a thick layer of dust/hair covering many of the surfaces, including the kitchen cabinets, the furnace room door, and the bathroom door. We were also missing bedding for the hide-a-bed. We contacted the host and they sent a crew the next day to address our cleaning concerns, change the furnace filter, and bring bedding. After the spot cleaning, we continued to notice additional areas over the course of our stay that were not up to par from a cleanliness standpoint. The property was also in a minor state of disrepair -- the bathroom door didn't close, the bathroom outlet didn't work, the sink sprayer didn't work, and the lamps flickered when plugged into the designated extension cord. The bunk beds worked out well for young kids, though a ladder into the top bunk would have been nice. The hide-a-bed also worked well for young kids, but the mattress is very thin and, in our opinion, is not suitable for adult use. On our trip, we also had bad luck as far as the weather was concerned. We were excited to have access to an indoor pool. We knew that one of the indoor pools was closed for construction, so we headed over to the second indoor pool. It's a very nice pool and space, but unfortunately during our trip the heating element was broken and our kids refused to swim because the water was so cold. The staff we spoke with were unsure of when it would be fixed.

All over a great experience. Great location. Loved the view! Wish there had been a dish washer but it was no big deal. Bunk beds are a tad narrow if you have bigger kids. Other than that everything was great.

Family vacation

The property was very clean. This particular room is in a great location right next to beach and pool access. Also right near laundry. Condo was small but was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 young children. Bunk beds are a bit narrow. They were fine for our 3 and 8 year old but probably wouldn’t be comfy for a teen. There was very few pots in kitchen. No skillets for breakfast. Balcony had a nice view of the beach. Beach has a service for chairs and umbrellas.

Perfect honeymoon

This property was exactly as described, if not understated. The view was outstanding, it's right next to the stairs to the beach, and it's across the parking lot from The Sassy Bass, a wonderful local restaurant. The location has several pools and amenities, and is far enough removed from Gulf shores to make it easy to find your own stretch of beach. We saw all manner of sea life from various schools of fish, to stingrays, to hermit crabs, and so many dolphins in the mornings. This location is wonderful! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

First the positives: clean property, balcony view of ocean, security gate, property managers were prompt with messaging and somewhat private. Negatives: smaller than it looks in photos, mildew smell all around until u get to the beach and bed was rock hard. Overall it was a really good stay.

Loved this property!

We absolutely loved this property! We have stayed at the Plantation for 23 years and this is our first time booking our stay there thru VRBO and we will never book thru anyone again! The room was super clean and was just like the photos on the booking site. Thank you for making our annual mother daughter trip a great one!! We will be back and hopefully we will be able to rent the same unit for our fall trip and again next year! The only issue we had was several outlets need to be replaced because the cord would fall out and not stay plugged in. We couldn’t get the outlet in the bathroom to work. None of that bothered our trip but it was a bit of a pain when trying to dry hair lol
