The Resort at Gulf Shores Plantation is a family-friendly, gated vacation community offering over 4000 feet of private sugar white beach frontage, natural sand dunes, and gorgeous property landscaping . The property is located next to nationally ranked Kiva Dunes Golf Course and includes a wealth of activities and amenities for all ages. It is truly the premier choice for a Gulf Coast get-away.

The Gulf Front, Non-Smoking Condominium is newly renovated (2021), fully appointed, and highly maintained for our vacation guests complete with wall-mounted flat screen TVs, WiFi, and cable. The Master bedroom is warm and intimate with its carefully selected materials, soft colors, and comfortable queen sized bed. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with all major SS appliances (including a Keurig Coffee Maker). There is a single Child’s Bunk (1) in the hallway with storage above and below for extended stays. The bathroom is modern with a beautiful white tiled walk-in Shower. The living room is equipped with a queen sized sofa sleeper and a bistro set that seats four (4) with Gulf Front views to add to the spacious feel of the unit.

We’ve personally updated and decorated the condo with your comfort and relaxation in mind striving to capture the true sense of peace and serenity that these beautiful beaches have to offer.

This was a wonderful property. The condo had plenty of space for a couple and was very clean. Excellent view of the coast from the room. The beach was not crowded despite the time of year and the property facilities were well maintained and clean. The host was friendly and always quick to respond with answers. We have been to the Gulf Shores/ Fort Morgan area many times and this has been our favorite place to stay. Shonda was very responsive and accommodating to us. The balcony view and location of the property was perfect. The condo was not only stylish but comfortable! We hope to come back in the future.

The unit is very clean, when you walk in you can smell how clean it is. The linens and towels are very nice quality, not cheap hotel stuff. The appliances look nice, but we don't cook on vacation. The view is great, the beach is not crowded, it's not a party beach or a senior home a good mix of all ages. The host provided all the info we needed before we got there, just go by her instructions and you won't have any problems. I hope to be able to return in the future.

BEWARE

I rarely leave bad reviews — as a business owner (and with my partner also owning a business), I understand the impact. But I feel it’s important to share our experience with this VRBO rental.We were charged nearly 300 after checkout for what I consider standard cleaning: a “dirty” microwave, sandy floors (despite vacuuming), and a small freezer spill. These seem like basic housekeeping tasks that are typically part of a normal turnover.We were also accused of vomiting on rugs — which absolutely did not happen — and chipping paint, which we did not do. I take full responsibility for one valid charge (stained sheets due to an unexpected menstrual cycle), but the rest felt exaggerated or false.We left the home respectfully: dishwasher running, trash out, linens gathered. After spending thousands on a vacation, it was frustrating to be hit with extra fees that didn’t reflect the condition we left the home in.If you do book this home, document everything — take photos and videos before and after your stay.As for the location, it was too far from most restaurants and attractions (30–40 min drive), and we couldn't get any Ubers. The bay water isn’t as clear or inviting as the ocean in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.The house itself has nice amenities, but between the remote location and unfair post-checkout charges, it just wasn’t the right fit for us.

Peaceful and Drama Free

Although my wife and I have stayed in condos along the gulf multiple times, this was our first in Fort Morgan. Loved it! The condo was simple, but nice, with absolutely no negative surprises, and the beach was noticeably less crowded than the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Destin areas. Incredibly relaxing, with plenty of space to kind of get away from others when desired. Loved the Ferry Ride to Dauphin Island for a little excursion. Great visit!

Property was nice. It’s small, but nicely updated. Great view. Very clean. It does not have a table. There is a sofa table situated up next to the wall under the television, that has barstools underneath, but not an actual kitchen table. Also, only has a Keurig coffee pot. No regular coffee pot. We had to drive back to town to get Keurig pods. Overall a nice stay.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed the location of this rental which was several minutes out of 'downtown. The condo was bright and clean. The view from the patio was fabulous (we saw 1 dolphin just after we arrived). Parking was easy. I did not swim, but my husband said the water was very cold. We did not hear any of our neighbors. Communication with the owner was wonderful. She was quick to respond and provided all the information we needed.
