The breakfast was unclear from check-in. Could have explain the details or process during booking to help decision when booking accommodation. Not buffet breakfast. Also, they were understaffed when serving breakfast as people were asking for service but the only 2 server was cooking and preparing guests meal at the same time. It was little disorganised. Hotel was clean enough but do need to check the details like stained curtains and linen. All in all is was a good stay

Solid pick for balance of budget/comfort

Clean and nice facilities. Basics for a stay but comfortable and decent wifi connection. Walking distance to a few pho places, etc - solid choice for a place to stay a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of a main road.

The staff was very helpful, they helped us a lot for changing our flight, book some boat tours, etc. There is not much to do around the hotel. Few restaurants, good but their staff doesn't speak english at all. Next time we will go live on Cat Ba island.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean. I love it the minute I walked into the hotel. I met by a super friendly staff. They are helpful and made you feel very welcomed. Ms. LanAnh is very nice, very friendly and very helpful. Thank you Ms. LanAnh. Another friendly staff is Ms. Quynh Anh. She is very helpful and friendly too. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful that these 2 ladies. Thank you. The room is big and comfortable. The location is great, very convenience. I definitely will stay at this lovely hotel next time I am at HaLong. Best hotel.

The front desk does not speak English. Pictures are better than reality. They do not have soap in the rooms. They tell you to use the shower gel. In very remote part. Halls smelled like cooking meat. Not a 4.8 in my opinion

Great Boutique Hotel

Very nice hotel and the staff were more than welcoming. Breakfast was above the average in Vietnam and the rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend.

From the interior and exterior architectural design of this Boutigue Hotel to the executive service provided by the customer orientated staff, the Halong Boutique Hotel challenges 5 star status. Be bold, ask their manager Ang about the area and the things that will make your stay memorable beyond the natural beauty of the area and she will deliver. Get out and walk from the tree layden street where the HBH is located along the bay towards the museum and you will wowed. And don't forget to take a coffee and relax on the 7th floor garden terrace with clear views of the city, the bay and the mountains. Rain or shine, the HBH is where you want to start every day while in Halong Bay.

This property is nice and seems to be fairly new. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel front desk staff is very helpful. The hotel is next to a construction site and is very noisy, especially in the morning. The hotel breakfast is ok , the breakfast staff can be a little rude and reluctant to keep the buffet stocked with food.

Great location, new, good price an friendly staff

The hotel was perfect, beautiful, comfortable, friendly staff and well located. I think there might be something a little wrong wit its address or location on the map but but when you find it you feel relieved with the beautiful building and its surroundings. The bathrooms sink could have been a lot cleaner when we first checked in but the next day housekeeping managed to fix that for us.

Amazing hotel

The hotel is amazing, beautiful, very clean and the room is big and comfortable. The staff members are the best. They are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They have helped us with our transport, cruise booking and even good recommendation. Best hotel ever!
