Only stayed one night and out of all the places we stayed on our vacation, this place was the noisiest. I heard people stomping up the steps in the hall at 2:00 a.m. and people walking around in the room above us in the middle of the night. In the morning, I smelled pot coming through our bathroom vent even though it is a non smoking hotel. The carpet is very worn, especially on the steps ( they should probably put a plastic runner down to protect the carpet from so many people walking on it). The breakfast was fine but the breakfast room was too small for such a large Hotel.

The hall was loaded with boxes of duvets. Pool was freezing. Breakfast for four days never changed. The hot part. Sausage, cut ham, over cooked tater tots and scrambled eggs every day. We had 4 breakfasts. Housecleaning was aggressive about entering the room after being told we were leaving in half hour. She came back in less than 15. The door to the laundry was always open for us to see. Messy hall area by it.

I was impressed with the staff , front desk ladies were so helpful with our stay, the food was great and our only setback was transportation. Bus routes weren’t clear with all the construction in the downtown area . I feel a car was a necessity for this hotel location, however there was certainly not the noise that you would have to deal with in the inner core. We enjoyed the pool too! The deck was lovely to relax on for our morning coffee!
