Malolo Cottage is just a short walk to the beach at Hanalei Bay (about 1 block), this wonderful Hawaiian-style studio cottage has all you will need for a relaxing vacation. Featuring vintage Koa furniture, a Queen bed and a double bed located behind a folding screen that separates the living area and sleeps 2-4 guests. There is a full kitchen and a shower bath inside as well as a hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. There is a covered outdoor area for lounging and a dining table and a Weber charcoal grill surrounded by a large yard. There is also a full size Washer and Dryer. Inside there is a flat screen TV, cable, a DVD player, as well as high speed WI-FI internet access.
Malolo Cottage is a gem of a house with a beautiful history in Hanalei.

**Please note, there is construction happening at the house next door. **

The perfect stay in Hanalei Bay

Our stay at the Malolo cottage was perfect for our family, even with 2 kids under 3. Close enough to walk to the beach, comfortable living space in the house, and quiet neighborhood. The house has everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Hanalei Bay!

Awesome trip for our small family

This was our 4th trip to the north shore and we wanted to have a solo family trip (no friends or family) this time. The Malolo Cottage was the perfect choice. The short walk to the beach and large yard made our trip very relaxing and memorable. The property managers were very communicative and reminded us to put out the trash each week. They also helped us quickly when the internet went offline during a wind storm. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property for a couple or a small family like ours.

Wonderful little traditional cottage!!!

We loved our time here! Home was very clean and well maintained, location was perfect! Two blocks from Hanalei town and about the same distance to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, great views of mountains . Well stocked kitchen, adequate linens, comfortable beds! Would definitely stay here again, thanks!!

Cottage pretty much as expected but inside shower is really small stall. Great for a couple; would not want to stay there with more adults. The covered patio is really nice, views of mountains to west. Nice to be able to park right outside the door. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach access is too far to walk carrying chairs and stuff. Management company was responsive and helpful.

Great cottage for small family

This cottage was charming and beautifully located. We felt like we were staying in a cabin, but instead of a cabin by a lake (we are from Minnesota) it was a cabin by the ocean! This was our favorite place to stay by far. Cottage had all the necessities and then some:). We will be back.

Close to town

Close to town so easy to walk to shops and food. It is a studio with two I believe full size bed side-by-side so we’re perfect for me and my 20 year old daughter to stay out together. There is a full kitchen. Close to the ocean as well although a bit of a walk if you are caring Surf Boards

Great stay in perfect location

What you see is what you get, in a good way. Simple, but comfortable house in a great location close to the beach and town. We (a couple) had a great 5 day stay. While not ultra-luxurious, the house was spotless. We only made breakfast and drinks, but found everything we needed in the kitchen. Couch and bed were comfortable. We were there in warm Sept. and never needed AC. Overall, would recommend!!

Mololo cottage

I would rent this property again. Right in the middle of Hanaleii bay. Walking distance to Hanaleii Bay town, and the beaches of Hanaleii. Outside showers (hot and cold water). It gets a little warm inside the house during the hottest times of the day. The inside design of the stay is a studio type. Bathroom is private.

Perfect location in a perfect town

My partner and I just got back from a 10 day stay at this perfect little spot in Hanalei. We spent the mornings outside with our books and coffee enjoying the dewy ground, birds, geckos and incredible view of the mountains. Swam in the ocean multiple times a day. Walked to dinner. It couldn't have been better. It's so close to everything. It's hard to pass up. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Super comfortable beach cottage

This cottage gave my teenage son and I a great home base to surf hanalei for a week. Easy walk to beach and to town. Kitchen was well equipped and clean; we also took advantage of the mini Weber charcoal grill to make steaks. The Outdoor shower had piping hot water, perfect way to clean off after being in the ocean. I loved having the roosters help me wake up in the morning; my son slept right through them. Living room was very comfortable, and we mostly sat outside to eat our meals. Would highly recommend for a small group not looking for a 5 star resort experience.

Home was immaculately cleaned before arrival. Decor is charming. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. Location is perfect with walking access to beach, grocery, shops and restaurants. Highly reccomend!
