We stayed in this hotel for one night at the start of our three-week trip and received a very warm welcome. Jenny in particular was very accommodating and super warm! Our bed was decorated because we were on our honeymoon and we even got a small plate with cake and writing. All the other staff were also super friendly. We felt completely at home and can only recommend the hotel! We have since stayed in another (4-star) hotel in Hanoi, which was in no way comparable and not nearly as nice as the Royal Palace Hotel.

The location was great. Close to the old quarter but enough off the beaten path to be quiet at night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our needs and helped us get into the room we wanted. They spoke excellent English.

Hanoi Royal palace 2 has pretty much all you could wish for. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and Breakfast was fabulous. Location was excellent and we explored the Old Quarter easily from here. Overall - we highly recommend this hotel (family with teenagers).

Please stay here! Sulli and the other members of staff were incredible! They were kind, helpful and went above and beyond with our stay even making us a map to help us navigate Hanoi. For that I absolutely cannot recommend this stay enough! We were given a free upgrade as the room was available and we got free drink coupons. The rooms were lovely, the location was perfect and the hotel was next to everything you could want. The breakfast was delicious and when we were getting an early bus to sapa they packed us a delicious breakfast for us to have on our travels. They helped with our bags and made us feel so at home. And for the price this was all absolutely so much more than we could have expected!

Booking this hotel is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I arrived in Hanoi at 8am and went straight to the hotel just to leave my luggage (check-in is at 3) but the staff immediately accommodated me and let me have breakfast even though I haven’t officially checked-in yet. They let me check-in early as soon as the room was available so I got my room by 1pm. The staff were really nice and friendly. They also recommended restaurants and things to do around the area.

My favorite thing about our stay was the friendly staff. They were so helpful and assisted us in booking transportation to/from the hotel as well as a day tour to Ninh Binh. They also provided some great recommendations in the area. We also used them for laundry service as well which was quite speedy. The room was clean and the air conditioning was a great reprieve from the hot Vietnam sun. Tons of great food in the area and close to Hoan Kiem Lake which is nice to walk around. The buffet breakfast was nice as well and included many options including made-to-order pho and eggs.
