I stayed there for a week and had a really enjoyable stay. The location is very convenient for places like Hoan Khiem Lake and the Hop on Hop off tour buses. There are also plenty of different kinds of options at meal times. The hotel rooms are cool and comfortable, and a varied and tasty breakfast buffet is provided every morning including eggs cooked to order. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and unfailingly helpful during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to have the chance to experience it's hospitality again.

Stay was very short didnt get a chance to see everything or experience a spa treatment there. Place is clean and staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet could have some more options. Also foods should be covered with nets to avoid contamination of insects. Helps to keep things fresh. Room could have some more tea options available, only green tea. Room is quite small but its nice. Some bathroom upgrades would make the hotel event better. I hope to stay again in the future to see if there are improvements.

The room is quite small but there is sufficient space to open out luggage. The area was in good condition and was clean. The staff cared about your experience and will try to accommodate any special requests.

The bed and room was clean and maintained well, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only negatives were that there was no hair conditioner, the nearby construction woke us up early in the morning, and that the room had very little space to walk.

The staff at the Minerva are top notch! Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. They arranged transport for our travel to SaPa, and arranged for an early takeaway breakfast. Would definitely stay again when traveling to Old Town Hanoi.

Hidden Gem in good location

Nice little boutique hotel conveniently located in Old Quarter. Breakfast is nice with reasonable selection. Overall service is excellent, rooms are comfortable but do need some small upgrades with plumbing etc.

Located in the heart of the tourist area. Walkable to almost everything and with a scooter or cab ride it’s all very easy. Tons of cafes, restaurants and shopping (not just souvenir shopping). They arranged for me to get to Nihn Bihn with no issues.

5-Star Experience in the Heart of Hanoi

My stay at Minerva Church Hotel was truly a 5-star experience at a fraction of the cost. I have never experienced such comprehensive, personable service from before my arrival until after my departure. Sunny Ng and the whole team anticipated all of my needs and exceeded my expectations for what a hotel can do for a guest. I would heartily recommend Minerva Church Hotel to anyone traveling to Hanoi and sincerely hope I can return one day.

Excellent clean place to stay within the old city in Hanoi that is walking distance to everything. Bit more pricey than other hotels but certainly worth the price the service was amazing and you definitely cannot go wrong staying here.
