This stunning Craftsman style beachfront vacation rental on the shores of Lake Michigan is a stone’s throw away from historic Cross Village. It was recently renovated with professional interior design assistance. Cranmer Hearth Lakehouse is nearly 3 acres with 200 feet of frontage on Lake Michigan, perfect for peaceful walks on the beach, swimming in the cool lake waters, and relishing in gorgeous sunsets.

The home has four beautifully designed bedrooms, including two suites, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, as well as 4.5 bathrooms. The queen suite also has a built-in day bed. It sleeps 8 guests comfortably or up to 10 when using the futon in the lower-level den. The two smaller bedrooms have a double bed and twin beds respectively.

The stunning custom kitchen features granite countertops, an espresso maker, and Jenn-Air gas stove and oven for gourmet meal preparations.

The grand fieldstone fireplace was built over 60 years ago with stones found by the Cranmer family from area farmlands (hence the name “Cranmer Hearth”), adding a comforting warmth for cooler evenings. Comfy leather furnishings surround the fireplace for plush relaxation.

The lower level features a den with satellite TV, board games, full-size futon, and bathroom.

Outside the beachside home, a babbling brook provides the gentle sounds of water flowing over pebbles. The home also includes an outdoor fire pit with Michigan-shaped Adirondack chairs.
