Lots to do at the BlueDoor chalet!

Take advantage of the northern Michigan lifestyle in the coveted Hidden Hamlet association. Set on a private and nicely wooded 2-acre lot with Nubs Nob a short walk from the door and The Highlands at Harbor Springs across the street. This property features a living area with cathedral ceilings and abundant natural light, central AC, a primary bedroom, a second bedroom, a twin in the hallway, a loft perfect for kids and extra guests, a garage, and a large workshop/storage area. Skiing, golf, biking, hiking, and endless trails are all readily accessible, making this a perfect vacation or long weekend!

Only .4 miles away from Nubs! Drive or walk down Tyrol to the ticket window and green lift! Near golf courses, Petoskey, and Downtown Harbor Springs!

Clean, spacious, and dry basement/garage area to store your gear. Boot dryer, laundry, and ski bench downstairs. Complete with extra trash and recycling bins.

Large wrap-around deck with BroilKing grill and 6-person dining table in warm season. Off the steps, access to a large side yard with horseshoes/fire. Hike up the hill for a great view!

Winter: Since we are on a hillside, please use caution when walking up and parking in front of the garage. Do not park up to the garage door (you will not make it). 4x4 required. Park off to the left for a 3rd vehicle. YakTrax is provided for use while staying here. (During winter months, where conditions exist)

Small dog-friendly home - pets must be leashed while outdoors and cleaned up after. Nightly pet fee noted in checkout.

Well-appointed kitchen with Keurig Drip and K-cup, mini food processor, tea pot, bullet blender, 4 slot toaster, electric skillet, crockpot, and air fryer. Custom knives, stoneware, stainless pots and pans. Basic pantry staples and coffee for guest use. Growler for local brewery use, champagne bucket, kids' dishes, utensils, and plastic cups are also available. There are extra leaves for the dining table in the closet, and 2 folding chairs in the basement. Plastic/Paper plates required for outdoor use.

55" QLED Smart TV in the main living area, WiFi included. Second Smart TV 43" located in the loft.

Towels, sheets, pillows, and paper products provided. Cooling sheets and hypoallergenic pillows. iComfort Queen mattresses and USB lamps with a tray in bedrooms.

Perfect spot to get away and relax after a day on the slopes!

My wife and I stayed in the home for a long weekend with my father-in-law (85 years old) and our son (23), and our dog. It was an ideal home base for our weekend. There was plenty of room for all, including a first floor room with attached bathroom for my father-in-law, a cozy living room to hang out, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, etc. The location was also great -- 10 minutes to Harbor Springs, 20 minutes to the nearest public beach on the Lake, 20 minutes from Wilderness State Park. The house itself was in a quiet, peaceful area of the woods, right near Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. The host was very communicative, flexible and accommodating and helpful.

Family Ski Trip

One of our favorite rentals ever. They supply everything you need for a perfect getaway. Living room has plenty of comfortable seating. Beds were comfortable. The lot is gorgeous (beautiful sunsets) and some wooded area where you can do a little sledding. The Host are very responsive to any questions you may have. If I could rate higher I would. Definitely plan on staying here again..

Fun on the Slopes!

This is our third year staying at the Chalet for our annual ski trip, and it never disappoints! It’s a fantastic location for skiing at Nubs or Boyne Highlands. The garage is perfect for storing ski gear, and the chalet has everything you need. The hosts are incredible—already looking forward to coming back!

Exercise Chalet

We go up to Harbor Springs every summer for a week. Liked this place a lot. Easy drive to downtown. We all ate too much at the great restaurants and stayed in shape climbing stairs at the Chalet multiple times a day. Liked the garage entrance. Great Host. Hope to rent it again sometime.

Great place to stay!

The house was perfect for us. It is well-equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The room at the bottom of the stairs was perfect for changing in and out of snowsport boots and apparel without tracking anything into the house. We would stay here again!

Comfy and stocked

This house had super comfy beds and couch. We enjoyed warming up by the gas fireplace. It was great to have the K-cups for coffee and other household items so we didnt have to pack anything extra like ziplocs, condiments,etc. Close to Nubs and Highlands so we could freely go back and forth during the day.

Great house, great location

Birthday Getaway

Lots of room and plenty of beds. Kitchen was stocked with anything you need. Large deck for out door grilling. Only cons are, the steep driveway, lots of stairs and the washer makes a loud banging when draining water. But over all 100% great place to stay.

This property was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with large pans, crockpot, etc. We loved how close we were to Nub’s. I would definitely book this place again!

Close to ski hills

Cute little place with a lot of potential. Seems like a nice neighborhood. Convenient to Nub’s Nob and the Highlands. Very steep driveway that is almost unnavigable in the winter with even a small amount of snow cover. We arrived after dark and it took us about 30 minutes and 5 bags of salt to make it up near the garage with a four wheel drive Jeep. We were thankful that the owners left several bags of salt in the garage, but we weren’t anticipating having to salt the driveway upon arrival. Took awhile to locate the “front” door in the dark. Lots of stairs and tight spaces inside, which was fine for us but might be an issue for older or less mobile people. Could use some TLC, but was fine for a couple nights.
