We had a lovely stay, although the rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. It was very hot in the rooms, a fan is provided. It's probably a little overpriced for the standard of the rooms.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. The room was spacious and we had a lovely view of the gardens opposite. I would definitely book to stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend.

Lovely traditional Hotel in a good location for all that Harrogate has to offer. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue was the sofa in our hotel room was damaged and gave a poor first impression of the room .

The toilet and basin needed attention on our arrival.The room was very hot all the time of our stay. The sash window was jammed about 8ins from the bottom and we couldnt open it further or close it if it had rained. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

You can’t beat the location for the price that we paid! That being said there is no AC, just a fan so it will be hot in the summer. Also we faced the back and the bar behind us was loud until at least 2300, 2/3 nights we stayed as we needed the window open for the breeze. Staff were all friendly and lovely and you can walk to anything you need in Harrogate.

Beautiful looking building from the outside but so dated inside & in serious need of update, dirty threadbare carpets in halls & stairs. Beds were very comfortable though with fresh sheets & nice pillows.

Everything perfect for our purpose. Bedrooms are a bit tired and dated, with a little bit of decor danage. Hiwever it diesnt detract from cleanliness and comfort. Windows, would say no to a good wash though (from outside)
