We chose this property for our annual siblingsâ weekend, where we celebrate each otherâs 60th birthdays. We enjoy spending time outdoors, so finding a place on a lake with a fire pit was important to us â and this home was a perfect fit.The location was excellent. The lake was just a short walk away, making it very convenient for ice fishing, and the fire pit located right in front of the house was ideal for relaxing together. The home itself â a spacious lower level â was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully laid out. The open-concept design made it easy for all 12 of us to gather comfortably. We loved being able to spend time together in the main space, whether we were working on puzzles, playing games, reading, or watching the Olympics. The large glass patio doors provided a wonderful view of the lake and brought in plenty of natural light.The property was very accommodating for a group our size. While sleeping arrangements may be a bit tight if you have six couples (as two of the bedrooms include a twin bed and a bunk bed with a twin on top and double on the bottom), it worked well for our group.We also appreciated the two large bathrooms, each with 2 locker-room-style showers, which made it possible for multiple people to get ready at the same time. The bathrooms are located down the hall from the main living area, offering added privacy.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.
