The York Residence in Hartley NSW - Newly Listed

The York Residence is an exquisitely designed six-bedroom house built on 5 acres of land with uninterrupted views of majestic Mount York and expansive views of Blue Mountains escarpments, this stunning property is the perfect place to make lasting memories with family and friends and get away from it all - you'll feel like you're in your own private paradise.



Upon arrival, expect to be greeted with a set of double electric gates, through which awaits a majestic tree lined driveway that takes you to a pebbled garden entrance. Alternatively, follow the driveway to the right to reveal a full-size basketball system with uninterrupted lush greenery views.



The living, dining and kitchen is an open plan area with ample northern light. The dining table seats 12 people and the kitchen has all modern appliances including a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee pod machine. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry items, you'll just need to bring the main ingredients for your meals with you.



There is clear separation between living and sleeping zones, with bedrooms located down a long hallway. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 of which has walk-in robes.



The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, ensuite with large bathtub and heated floors, walk-in wardrobe, aircon and standing mirror. This room caters for up to 2 people only.



Bedroom 2 is an oversize bedroom with king-sized bed, wardrobe space, shared central aircon and standing mirror. Bedroom 2 uses the main bathroom which is shared with other bedrooms. This room caters for up to 2 people only.



Bedrooms 3-6 have queen-sized beds, wardrobe space, shared central aircon. They also use the main bathroom which is shared with other bedrooms. Each room caters for up to 2 people only.



Main bathroom comes with a freestanding bathtub and separate shower. There are two basins outside the bathroom which services Bedrooms 2-6. There is also a guest toilet in the laundry area.



There is a small studio/study room for anyone who would like to work in peace and quiet.



There is a washing machine and dryer, and rack for drying clothes both indoors & outdoors. Laundry detergent and other items needed are supplied. Iron and ironing board available.



The entire house runs on central reverse cycle air conditioning for heating and cooling. The living and dining area has an inbuilt combustion fireplace. Some firewood is available during the winter.



On a sunny day, you can enjoy a game of cricket or a leisurely stroll on the lush green land. Or for those feeling competitive, get together for a 5-on-5 game of basketball in the courts outside the garage.



On a rainy day, chillax with your friends and loved ones with a movie marathon - we have two Netflix-enabled flat-screen TVs, and we provide a complimentary Netflix account for anyone who doesn't have their own. There is also a pool table, grand piano, and books & board games for the kids.



The outdoor area has a table that can seat 12 people. We have a BBQ grill, as well as an in-ground fire pit with some firewood supplied.



Occasionally, the kangaroos from across our fence will hop over to our property. Usually they will stay near the fence and will not come close to the house.

The York Residence is suited to families, couples or groups of adults. Strictly no pets and no smoking. Maximum adults is 12. Strictly no additional guests other than what is stated and paid for in your reservation are allowed on the property. We are very strict about this and not following these rules may initiate an early eviction.



Events/commercial activities are only allowed up on approval (eg. weddings, photoshoots, filming) - please contact us with details of the event prior to booking.



No Party or Noise Disruption policy - IMPORTANT !!!
This is a quiet neighborhood, and we have strict no party or loud noise policy, under no circumstances is this a party house or venue.

Check-in is after 3pm and check-out before 10am.

Minimum stay is 2 nights, excluding public holidays.



Public holiday weekends require a minimum 3 night stay.

What a beautiful place the views

We have never stayed in Hartley before and I wasn’t sure if the the York was too far from shops food takeaway etc .We then found the shops which wasn’t too bad and went to he red rooster which was nice hot fresh .The house was so big and nice we all loved the views plenty to do we didn’t want to leave we all miss it already the space the views and the privacy 10/10 thanks we all enjoyed our break away

Nice family holiday house

The house is beautiful and clean. The pool however has many dead bugs floating. The house is listed as pet friendly but we were not allowed to bring our cat. Other than that everyone was happy with the stay.

Family catch-up.

Accommodation was great. It would have been better if the second television in the pool room was working so the children could have watched a movie at night I understand that water is a problem but the outside around the table and pool is very dirty. Also the broken step caused my elderly partner to fall on the hard surface. Could have been worse but I feel it should be fixed. Overall we had a lovely family get together.
