Callie's Cottage- Cottage stay between Bryce and Zion
Centered between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Beautiful pink cliffs across the way, and a river. Cozy two bedroom cottage that's 1000 sq. ft It's sitting on three quarters of an acre of land. Two comfortable queen beds. Dining and family room. Deck out front to enjoy the beautiful view. There is 1 Gig fiber internet to stay connected while on your vacation. Kitchen with all the amenities plus a washer and dryer. There is no central air to the house, but we have portable fans in both of the bedrooms, ceiling fans, and portable AC in the living/dining room. We have heat in the cottage as well. There is a gas fireplace and a heater in the kitchen and both bedrooms. The cottage is a great place to visit year round!
This was our second stay at Callie's Cottage. We needed a peaceful retreat and some much needed rest and relaxation; which is why we chose to return to the Callie's Cottage. We had time to rest and relax in the quiet & peaceful neighborhood. The location of the cottage is good, as you can visit, Zion, Panquitch, Red Canyon Bryce Canyon and other cool areas of interest. We like to cook and were able to cook all our meals at the cottage. We visited Red Canyon and took a couple of trips to Panquish Lake. And, once again nature was on full display. We dig the location, comfort and peace that Callie's Cottae offers its weary travelers.6 Stars!
Great location with easy access to Bryce. The host is very responsive and the house is exactly as described in the listing. Our family had a great time. Highly recommend staying here.
Such a comfy home! We stayed here on a visit to Bryce Canyon and had the best time. Home is on a beautiful quiet spot about 20 minutes from the park. Kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals. Slept like a baby. Would definitely stay again!
We loved our stay at Callieâs Cottage! The amenities were very nice and it was clean inside. It was easy to find in the dark because pretty lights were on top of the fence. Callie was a good host as well. We were sad to leave!
My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay at Callie"s Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying the spectacular view. Callie was an excellent communicator. She responded to all my questions within minutes. The place was clean, cozy and comfortable. The wifi worked really well. Once we were there, we actually wished we could have stayed longer than one night. I highly recommend Callieâs cottage.
This cottage worked perfectly for us to relax from our visits and hikes into Bryce Canyon. It is about 30 minutes away but we were happy to be away from all the activity at the park. and the cottage faces east with a beautiful sunrise view. It was just myself and my husband but it has plenty of space & would be great for more people. The various heaters kept us cozy for the overnight low temperatures. Parking facing east allows the sun to warm up the front window and clear the frost. Travelers might think to throw a small ice scraper in their car if it isn't mid summer. We saw snow in late April. The washer dryer worked was a great amenity since we had hiked in the mud from the melting snow. I also appreciated that there was both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. The drive to Panguitch is easy for groceries. C-Stop had a good pizza and great Greek salad. Note the drive south to Cedar City via the highway gets you into more elevation - beautiful but could be different weather conditions so be aware.
This rental worked out well for us. We visited Bryce .The home was clean and welcoming. It was cold when we were there. But with the heaters the cottage was warm amd cozy. We enjoyed the gas fireplaceThe kitchen was well stocked with kitchen suppplies.
We spent five nights in mid March at the Cottage. We found the Cottage to be a perfect home away from home. We like to cook and cooked all of our meals at the Cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We visited Bryce and not Zion. Bryce was about a half hour away, and we visited the park three times. During the off season, there wasn't much happening in the small town of Hatch-where the Cottage is located; but the larger town of Panquitch isn't too far away, and offered food & beverage and shops. We especilly liked Joe's market there (check out the breakfast sasuage in the deli.) The Cottage offered the rest and relaxation which we were searching for, and Callie was the perfect host.Six Stars!
Great location and was conveniently located. Very pretty watching the sunset with the nearby rock formations. When we stayed, the only issue we had was it was a little cold even with having the heaters on.
On this trip to Utah, we were completing our list of National Parks with visiting Zion, Bryce and Capital Reef. Staying in Callie's Cottage allowed us to have a home base for Zion and Bryce exploration. The cottage was wonderful! It was so clean and met all our needs. The view out the front porch was amazing! Since we were visiting in "off season" there wasn't alot restaurants available in Hatch but we had accounted for that and planned for meals at the cottage. It was a perfect location for us and we plan to book this again the next time we are in the area.
The property was excellent. Perfect for our stay. Cottage was exactly as described and very clean. My husband and I enjoyed morning coffee and afternoons on the front porch. It was very beautiful and relaxing after a day at the parks. Would stay there again and recommend it to everyone.
We stayed here 2 nights to visit Bryce NP. The cottage was perfect. Clean, smelled nice, and good location. Took us about 30 minutes to get to Bryce with a nice scenic drive. When we came home the one night we had a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. So cool. We would sit on the porch and just enjoy the silence and the animal noises from the farm across the way and you could see so many stars at night. I highly recommend this place to stay. Reasonably priced, not too far from Bryce, quiet, and just cozy comfortable!! Thanks Callie for sharing your place.
My husband and I stayed here for our 3 year wedding anniversary! It is the perfect distance between Bryce Canyon (approx 40 min away) and Zion ( approx 1 hour away ). Callie was an excellent host- she communicated well and the place was very clean! We would 100% stay here again and/or recommend to family and friends!
This was a nice quiet home that is a good jumping off point to explore Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed the location and experience. The owner was very responsive.
Callieâs Cottage provided everything we needed for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Callie was quick to respond whenever I had a question. Though there is no central air, the window air conditioning unit kept the entire home plenty coolâŠwe left our bedroom doors open overnight as we slept to allow the cool air in, which worked fine. The view from the house is so lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings in the community. We loved our morning and evening walks along the quiet streets. Coffee shop is very close by, and there are delicious burgers at the Outlaw Saloon (be aware, you need to be 21 years or older to enter this restaurant). Easy 25 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. Perfect place for two couples.
We stayed at Callie's in between our Zion and Bryce Canyon stops. We arrived late, but the property was easy to find. Hatch is an extremely small town, even by my small town standards, but everyone we encountered was super friendly. The home was an older home, but well maintained and super clean. After staying in hotels for a few days, it was great to be able to wash our clothes before heading to the next stop on our trip.
A perfect place to stay while visiting Bryce! Everything was as pictured and Callie has thought of all the details. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Walking distance to a coffee shop and a delicious restaurant, Outlaw Saloon. We would stay again if we're ever back near Bryce!
