You’ll enjoy wide-open skies, dramatic views of the Paunsaugunt Cliffs, and quiet nights filled with stars. Hatch is known as a gateway to Bryce Canyon (about 25–30 minutes) and offers easy access to Zion National Park (about 1 hour), making it ideal for guests exploring multiple parks in one trip.
This is a relaxed, rural mountain setting — perfect for travelers seeking space, privacy, and nature — while still being close to iconic hikes, scenic drives, and national park entrances.
Expect wildlife sightings, and unforgettable sunrise and sunset views.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended when staying in Hatch, as public transportation and ride-share services are nonexistent in the area.
The Grove offers easy access to Southern Utah’s most iconic destinations:
• Bryce Canyon National Park – approx. 25–30 minutes
• Zion National Park – approx. 1 hour
• Red Canyon Scenic Area – approx. 15 minutes
• Panguitch Lake – approx. 35 minutes
The home includes a private driveway and garage parking, making it convenient for multiple vehicles, trailers, or adventure gear.
Roads are paved and well-maintained year-round. During winter months, snow is possible, so guests should check weather conditions and plan accordingly.
Most guests use the property as a central basecamp to explore multiple parks and return each evening to relax in the hot tub under the stars.
Other Things to Note:
The upper loft area is an open concept and exposes itself to the living room below (please see photos for reference) and is protected by a four foot tall railing.
The turnoff from Highway 89 to access the road to the cabins can come quickly, especially at night in the dark. Please exercise caution on the highway and slow down and signal well before the turnoff, particularly at nighttime. Please also watch for wildlife on the highway. Additionally, there may be wildlife around the property - please enjoy them from afar and leave them alone. Please note that while we are rural, our property is accessible by any vehicle and is not on mountain roads.
Due to the rural location of our property, is it possible, though unlikely, that weather-related power outages may be possible. Please communicate with your hosts if this happens and we will do our best to communicate any updates and offer suggestions.
