The view was amazing! And the walk out to the sea wall was incredible! Unfortunately the conditions of the condo on arrival was terrible. There were live and dead bugs on the floor and in the sofabed, a dead gheko, dust and used tissue and garbage under the bed, sofa and behind the TV. The dishwasher was full from the last guest, there was only enough toilet paper for 4 days of our nine day visit, the ice cubes in the fridge freezer had mold. We were told all amenities were open yet the the pool, cabana and bbq was closed until the last 4 days.

Can't wait to return!!!

If you are looking for a clean, as close to the water as you can get, no frills room, this is it! While it may not possess all of the over-the-top amenities of some of the larger, luxury hotels, it has what none of them do: UNMATCHED views and location. Just steps outside of your door, you can see both Lanai and Molokai; a friendly sea turtle playing in the surf; humpback whales (sooo many whales!!!); and the most amazing sunsets! This is the perfect pairing of location and practicality, and I cannot wait to return!

The place was very well kept. Nice pool and surroundings. The view is fantastic! However, didn't like the balcony situation. Had to go out on the walkway to sunbath or to the pool. Swimming right off the property is not recommended. Lots of coral to rip you apart. Other than that, worth the price compared to some other locations.

“OK” place to stay if you don’t want anything fancy.

We gave this property a “3” overall. Everything works ok but the unit is in great need of an update, most everything seems tired. Location is good but in order to access a beach you have a long way to walk around the building & parking. There is NO beach in front of the building.. We were on our 25th anniversary & expected the room would be a little nicer

My husband and I stayed here for just over a week. It was perfect. The unit was exactly as pictured, so there were no surprises. The property manager was very kind when we had questions. AC worked great, we left it off during the day to conserve energy and had no problems cooling the unit down in the evening. Beach access from your back door and the owners had some beach supplies ready for use! I would recommend walking on the beach closest to your unit early in the morning to see all the sea urchins, and walk up or down the beach if you want to snorkel. We would stay here again!

Our 30 year return

We enjoyed our stay here after not being in Maui for 30 years. It was the perfect place for us. Ground floor so we didn’t need to use an elevator. Just a few steps from parking and the wonderful beach. Low key without the crowds and walking distance to the food trucks and other amenities. Not perfect as a burner on the stove didn’t work or hood vent, blender cracked, no beach towels. We let the manager know before leaving so they could rectify, it wasn’t major to our stay. There was a fully decked out kitchen so eating in was easy. Just needed to shop for groceries. We will surely go back.

Quick Stay

The location and view were great! However, everything was rusted over (understand its on the first floor, but perhaps a yearly paint over?), outdated and left me feeling...dirty? Luckily we were staying there temporarily before our other condo was available. But I would not have felt it was a luxurious honeymoon sleeping on that bed with antique bedding and what not. Could take the money from our our short trip to give that place a nice update.

Is the perfect location on the perfect island for a perfect vacation

Is excellent communication with the property owner, accessing the property via the keybox was exactly as described in the message ahead of time. The property is beautiful, it sits directly on an ocean with a with a ledge where you can look out and drink your morning coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed And there were ample towels for the shower. I enjoyed this day at this place so much that the next time I am back on island I will inquire to see if this is available again. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful property.

I absolutely loved my stay here. We stayed for six days and this property had everything we needed. I loved being on the first floor. This unit we could walk straight to our room and walk straight out of our sliding door in the back to the ocean or lay on the chairs outside like the ocean is your back yard. Most of the units here have to take an elevator to get down to the ocean. They provided all the basic necessities. It was nice having a microwave, stove/ oven and all things necessary to cook. The pool and Jacuzzi were nice as well although we spent most of our time out enjoying excursions and going to other beaches including Airport Beach which was a 10 minute Uber away. The a/c and wifi both worked great! There are restaurants, local food trucks and a grocery store within walking distance, 10-15 min walk. We rented a car also and enjoyed the hassle free parking in the lot. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Location - Highly Recommended!!!

My fiancé and I booked our stay at the end of May 2021 at this property. It was perfect for our needs, and the location could not be beat. It is a ground floor condo, literally FEET from the ocean. We woke up each morning to an incredible view and the sound of the waves. There are food trucks and a grocery store within walking distance, and beach access from the back door. Communication from the property manager was excellent. The condo was clean and cozy. We didn't have any issues finding the property or checking in. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who wants to spend time on a beautiful part of the island with close access to amenities!

Loved having the beach in our backyard!

Our favorite part about this property is definitely the easy access to a beach that has almost no people. This unit is particularly nice because it is on the bottom floor with back door access to the deck. I was worried about the windows being easy to see into from the outside, but they were actually very tinted. You could not really tell from the inside though. The owners also generously provide coolers, chairs, and an umbrella for you to use. This made chill beach afternoons extremely stress-free! There was an issue with a leak in the building while we were there, and it was accumulating in our bathroom. The on-site staff was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful in solving this issue. I highly recommend this place.

Great location!!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it here! The room was a perfect size for the 2 of us and had an amazing front view of the ocean, felt like we were on the water it’s so close! However you can’t go to the beach straight out from you, we had to walk about 5 or 10 minutes in either direction to get to a nice beach. The condo is in walking distance from grocery stores, food trucks, restaurants, and a lot more! We loved it!!

You can't beat the view

This property is right on the water. It's incredible. You can hear the waves and they almost feel like they could splash the back door. Amazing. The sunsets are glorious and the place is very quiet except for the ocean sounds lulling you to sleep.

What a view

Cannot top this oceanfront view. Short walk to restaurants and grocers. Condo stocked with water fun gear. Access to Laundry convenient. And whales whales whales. Super comfy bed, sliding doors open at night allow for crashing wave sounds to lull you to sleep. Couldn't ask for anything more from our stay at 103 Maui Kai

Views were beautiful, location was great on the Westside, away from traffic, but close enough to all the essentials. Great live music across the street at Java Jazz, grocery shopping, scooter rentals, beautiful hikes. Quiet and very well kept hotel.

Ocean waves and whales

Basic studio set up, comfortable furnishings. This unit is directly in front of the elevators, so expect some noise as residents gather outside the door. Paved walkway along the ocean front with easy access to sandy beach just north of Maui Kai. Shopping, restaurants, grocery very close to the unit.

The condo is eye level with the ocean that filled our moments with ocean waves sounds and views.

This condo is perfect for the ocean lover that wants to be 'one' and absorbed with the ocean at all times! The sounds of the ocean are very strong especially with the waves that splash against the retaining wall to even include splashing water over the wall and onto the lounging area. We loved it because we are surfer and water lovers! At night the sounds are pretty loud but again we loved it! There is also a lot of wind sounds that bang against the front door which was not so nice to hear during the night that keep waking us up. That said, the location is perfect for hopping out ready to caught a swell right from your patio or taking a walk down the beach since you are right on it! The complaint I had was the condo lacked much in cleanliness! I informed the owner and showed where there needed to be better cleanliness and the owner was very responsive. It is a pretty out dated condo too with many outlets non functional. Besides that our stay was still super great and the kitchen was well equipped to be able to cook most of our meals and have the best view for eating our daily meals. We would definitely return to a clean condo!
