We enjoyed a gorgeous view from the balcony! We visited during February - prime whale migration time, and we were blessed to see so much whale activity from the comfort of our balcony. We were also able to see turtles swimming in the waters below! Be sure to bring binoculars to really enjoy the prime location if you're interested in whale watching!

The place was clean and useful, the Lani and view were amazing with beautiful sunsets and whale watching. The bed linens leaved a little to be desired . The bottom sheet would not stay on the mattress and the mattress cover was nonexistent.

Beautiful condo. Very comfortable. The Lani with the daybed as incredible. We spend most of our day out there and really didn’t want to leave it. Would recommend to anyone.

I would definitely stay here again!! Great communication from everyone. We love the space, views, and turtles. I would recommend to the owners to re-grout the floors. It was a bit painful walking in the restroom area.

The view from the condo is beautiful; however, the interior is outdated and not nearly as nice as it appears in the photos. The unit was very uncomfortable without air conditioning, as it became quite hot and humid. When we opened the sliding doors, even with the screen closed, many small flies entered the unit. We found them throughout the condo, including approximately 20 in our bed despite having freshly washed sheets. Additionally, the sliding doors were difficult to open and close. Although there is a washer and dryer available, both appliances are quite old and very noisy. The dishwasher was a convenient feature and appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the condo was lacking. The bathroom had a noticeable urine odor, and the bath mat appeared dirty. The vent in the bathroom wasn’t working properly because it was clogged with dust and debris. On several evenings, when we attempted to use the pool, groups of people were gathered with food, drinks, and marijuana smoking. There was no staff available to report these concerns, as the lobby was closed at those times. As a result, we chose to leave and go to a nearby beach instead. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay and felt that the listing photos were misleading regarding the condition of the condo.

Kahana condo

My husband and I just got back home from a beautiful, relaxing vacation in Maui. I am so glad we chose this location. The balcony and views were my main choices for this property. They did not disappoint! The location was perfect for us-not in the main hustle-bustle but still close enough to find suitable eating/shopping locations within short walking and driving distance. The location did not have beach towels, so we did have to purchase those. We did leave them in the unit for future renters. This is something that would to be great to include since that is just extra room in a suitcase that no one wants to pack. I would DEFINITELY rent this unit again. Daily features: whales spotted in the distance twice a day; morning and evening balcony reading. These were so serene! Thank you for a great stay.
