Kaanapali Royal - large modern two bedroom, two bathroom condo, surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping, on Ka’anapali golf course. With a pool, jacuzzi and tennis/pickleball, it is located in a gated community for your comfort and safety. 15 minute walk to Whaler’s Village and Ka’anapali beach.

WithIn the gated complex of Kaanapali Royal in the heart of the Kaanapali Resort, this large 1534 sq ft 2BR/2BA condo is your tropical haven. Highlights include new modern decor, a 500 sq ft lanai with partial ocean views, a spacious and sleek kitchen, a large living room with a 65” smart TV and a luxurious all-suite layout.

Walking distance from world famous Kaanapali beach, Resorts and Whalers Village shopping and restaurants. Play 36 holes of championship golf or a game of tennis just beyond your door. Or take a dip in the onsite pool and hot tub.

One of the few complex condos with direct access, and no stairs to enter, this condo sleeps up to 6 people. If you are unfamiliar with Kaanapali Royal, most condos have anywhere from 12-40 concrete stairs to enter. Mine has none!

LIVING AREA
Unwind in the comfortable living room, furnished with a queen sleeper sofa, love seat, and 2 armchairs. Gather for favorite movies around the 65” smart TV with blu-ray player.

KITCHEN & DINING
Whip up meals in the spacious kitchen, equipped with a full suite of sleek, stainless steel appliances. Enjoy breakfast at the kitchen bar, which seats three, eat outdoors on the lanai with seating for four or gather around the dining table with seating for six.

BEDROOMS & BATHS
Find ultimate comfort in the primary suite, complete with a king bed, a 40” TV with a Roku and lanai access. The ensuite bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

Sleep soundly in the guest suite, featuring a queen bed, a 40” smart TV, and lanai access. The ensuite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Take in partial ocean views on your spacious 500 sq ft lanai, featuring draw-down shades and comfy furnishings. In the evening, sizzle fresh fish on the Weber gas grill, then dine alfresco at the table for four.

Spend sun-kissed days splashing in the resort pool just steps from your door. Or enjoy a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi. Both are open year-round.

THE LOCATION
Kaanapali Royal offers lush landscaping, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, 2 lighted tennis courts, the security of a gated community, and an intimate setting without the crowds.

Walk or take a free shuttle less than a half a mile to Kaanapali Beach for fun-filled days snorkeling, paddle boarding, or scuba diving. Or enjoy dining and shopping in Whalers Village.

Located on the 16th green, golf enthusiasts will love the 36 holes of championship golf on offer at Kaanapali Golf Courses.

All condos in Kaanapali Royal are subject to a $160 parking fee per stay, payable to the Kaanapali Royal front desk when you arrive.

Please be aware that the beach size in Hawaii may vary from month to month due to our heavy surf, strong currents, and high & low tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

In addition, like many Maui complexes, Kaanapali Royal has a small cat colony that keeps us free from pests. Anyone with strong allergies may be affected.

Safety note: The complex borders an active golf course; on rare occasions, errant golf balls may enter common areas such as the pool or grounds.

The parking fee and HI/Maui taxes are subject to change and will be charged based on current rates at the time of the stay.

IMPORTANT: Although the unit is sprayed quarterly by professional pest control services, pests cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Should you encounter a pest problem, please call and we will be happy to address the situation.

House rules: No parties, no smoking inside or on the lanai, security enforced complex quiet hours between 10pm-8am daily, no more than six registered guests allowed in the condo. Any violation of these rules may result in a cancellation of the reservation.

We have stayed at this property (Kannapali Royal) a few different times. This was our first time in this unit. It is a short walk to the beach and Whalers Village. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Enjoyable stay!

The two bedroom condo was great! We had a total of 4 people staying in the condo and there was ample room for all of us. The location itself was central to everywhere we wanted to go whether it was Front Street or Whaler's Village. Nicola stayed in constant communication with me and made sure our check-in/out was going smoothly. All in all, we had a great time!

Beautiful, spacious condo

This is a very large space for a family gathering. Appliances were great with plenty of cooking gadgets. Beautiful patio overlooking the pool and golf course with comfortable seating and a nice grill. Clean and tidy residence with towels and a closet with a cooler, umbrella and beach chairs. Fantastic tv, though we didn't watch much.

This was our first time staying at Kaanapali Royal. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Having access to beach chairs towel and cooler was awesome!! Communication prior to arriving was excellent! Nicola answered everything before I needed to ask. Our flight got canceled and there was a chance we would need to stay another night. Nicola was very understanding and willing to accommodate the extra night if needed. Loved the short walk to Whalers Village.

Great condo and experience!

We had an amazing stay at Nicola's place--it is clean, spacious, had everything we needed (didn't need to buy/rent beach chairs or umbrella), and the best and most convenient location! Our family of 5 (the kids are all grown now) were very comfortable and had plenty of space. Nicola is super responsive and was very patient with all my questions (and I had a lot of them :) ). There were a couple of light bulbs that were out (no big deal) but my husband found the supply of extra bulbs in the condo and easily replaced them. Nicola sent us a thank you card for drinks at a nearby restaurant, which really wasn't necessary but very appreciated. All the great reviews are well deserved and I'm not sure what more I can add to it, other than to pile on and say, "It's all true!" We can't recommend it highly enough!

Happy with our stay

Our pre-arrival correspondence was excellent with Nicola. Very friendly and helpful. Condo was easy to find and Check-in was a breeze. Once we made our way in, we were greeted with a strong musty smell, which we averted by airing the condo out for a bit. Our noses did adjust to the smell but could detect it each time we came back after a day out. The condo was great, although smaller than it appeared in the photos. The Lanai was very nice but again, smaller than the it appeared in the pictures. The kitchen was probably the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever started in! Everything you could need to cook full course meal and then some! The bedrooms were roomy, especially the master bedroom. Loved the double closet and dressing area. The use of beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler was appreciated! And the main level entrance to the condo was especially handy! If there were any complaints, I guess it would be that although there place was clean enough, it is in need of a good deep cleaning! Wood work and shuttered closet doors needed a scrub down and the master bedroom rug was pretty dirty and trod down. (This is more a heads up to the owner than a complaint) But all and all it was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Good location, but it has a STRONG scent.

This location was good and everything was mostly functional (AC was a little rough not properly cooling). Master bath had mold all over the grout on the wall that had shower head and nozzles which was a bit concerning. But the main thing was the smell! It smelled strongly like a Golden Girl lived there! It was very nauseating for the two pregnant girls on the trip as it was everywhere, even the sheets. It personally motivated me to spend as little time there as possible and see as much as Maui as I could during waking hour. Unfortunately the other pregnant girl needed more rest and had to deal with the smell. It also seeped its way through everyone’s luggage and everyone had to rewash clean clothes and spray down and air out other items that could not be washed. We did notice the door code ended earlier than the 11am check out which could’ve been an issue if we didn’t realize while someone was still inside. Pictures are a bit deceiving but overall served its function. The owner was great at communication. But would not stay there again and we decided we are just going to suck up the price and stay on resorts the whole time.

Fantastic Place

What a fabulous place to stay in Maui! If you have yet to decide where to stay, do not look any further if the dates can work out for your vacation! During the pandemic, we were set to stay in a house so that we would not have any problems (sharing pools with too many people, etc.). What a surprise staying right at the best location ever! It is right by the Whaler which is the best beach area that you can get in Maui. The place is very comfortable. The hardwood floors are gorgeous. They look brand new! Oh that's right - they were brand new. There was nothing that we needed. Nicole is very organized and it is clear that she wants to please her guests. From providing an ice chest to lounge chairs, we were spoiled. There was a fan in every major room including the outside lanai. What a large area. We are a family of five, now all adults. Our kids are grown but we did not feel crowded. Depending on when you arrive, it takes about an hour to get the place cooled down but then it is all good. We were super comfortable. I would rate it a 10 and hopefully we will be able to come back soon. The value of this rental is very reasonable. You will not feel that you have been overcharged. Nicole will answer all of our questions. If we needed anything, she always made herself available. I hope you get to enjoy this fabulous place with a pool that is close to your condo.

Incredible Maui Vacation🌸

Our time in Maui was truly amazing! The condo was relaxing and felt like our home away from home! We enjoyed using the bbq grill on the lanai while looking out over the beautiful lush grounds and ocean in the distance. Our three teenage sons were thrilled with the pool and spa. Kaanapali Beach is wonderful for snorkeling and swimming and is only about a 12 minute walk. Nicola was super helpful and turned us on to the delicious Hula Pie (best dessert ever) served at Leilanis Restaurant in Whaler’s Village (10 minute walk). There are so many wonderful beaches on the west side of the island within 20 minutes driving distance from the condo. We are so grateful to have had such a great condo for our vacation! A great setting and great location

We had an amazing 12 days at Nicola's unit. This unit has so much space and is fully equipped - kitchen, patio, laundry, beach chairs (these were a real bonus), linens. We utilized the pool and the tennis courts! The location of the condo within the complex is great. Parking is steps away from the unit, garbage and recycling is steps away, close access to the pathway to the pool compared to other sections of the complex and the level entry was really more of a bonus that i had even thought it would be (suitcases, groceries etc). The location of the complex is perfect - it's in the middle of the Kaanapali strip and a short walk down to Whaler Village. It's easy to access from the highway or the lower road, Safeway is VERY close by for groceries and a quick trip into Lahaina for restaurants or to shop. We did not miss being down amongst the hotels as the condo was great, beautiful views and had everything we needed - in fact we preferred it. We hope to one day be back!

Wish my stay was longer!

Nicola's condo is beautiful! We had 2 married couples and the space was perfect! It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs that were in the storage locker. We only went to the pool one time, but it was clean with plenty of chairs to choose. I will definitely book again!

Enjoyment

This was a great property. It’s exactly how it looked in the pictures. The only recommendation we have js that maybe the guest bedroom shower could be updated. But overall great place.

Our stay

Place was nice. We had an issue with the toilet ring leaking and a clogged garbage disposal. In an ideal world the cleaning crew would of noticed this and reported it before we arrived but once Nicola was notified of the problem a plumber was sent right out and fixed the problems. Awesome! Super convenient to have multiple beach chairs beach towels and an umbrella to use. The air conditioning is not the best. The central air unit seems old but the place stayed between 72-75. So we were comfortable the entire stay.

Cozy home away from home with incredible views

We stayed for almost a month! Well-equipped for all needs, wonderfully furnished, clean condo steps away from amazing beach, dining and shopping. Would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend. Nicola was very responsive and the property management definitely does a great job maintaining the condos.

Great Condo!

We had a really great time while we were in Maui. This location was great. It was easy to get to where we needed, shops and restaurants were not far away. We took our kids with us (3.5 and 22 months). We had our 3 year old sleep in the guest room. Nicola did not have a pack and play for the baby to sleep in. He recommended Maui Baby Rentals. They were great. We rented a pack and play and a beach shade. The items were at the front door when we arrived. He had beach toys for the kids to play with along with beach chairs and towels. It was nice not having to pack EVERYTHING! We would absolutely stay here again.

Such a great stay and experience

We have used VRBO a lot and this was one of our very favorite rentals. It is in an ideal location... Just a 12 minute beautiful walk to Kaanapali beach, the two bedroom unit has a beautiful and large lanai that faces the golf course and also the ocean in the distance. Nicola, the owner, was super responsive and so helpful for us. There is a wonderful pool and hot tub as well. We have stayed at the Marriott Ocean Club timeshare before and we both liked Nicola's condo much more! We were there with our 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter and all of us had a truly great time. We all highly recommend this place if you want to stay in the Kaanapali area!
