This unit was everything we hoped for! Short walk to the beach, stunning views of the ocean and Moloka‘i from the lanai AND inside the unit, and a clean and modern unit. We loved eating breakfast and lunch on the covered lanai, and then just sitting there and listening to the waves crash against the cliffs during the heat of the day. The easy access to a coastal walking trail was awesome to see some of the landscape and walk down to Kapalua Beach as well. The grounds were immaculate, including the gardens and then pool that was only steps away. We spent most of our time outside, but the inside of the unit was excellent. We were very happy with the bed, shower, full kitchen, and all the provided ameninties. Everything was clean and well-kept. We'll definitely return!

The location was great, we’ve stayed in Kapalua villas before and enjoyed the ease of access to the trail and also the pool for after the beach. The unit could use new beach chairs and a more portable cooler. The unit does get hot in the evening as the AC tends to struggle to keep up, even with the shades drawn.

The property was absolutely beautiful, and it felt like we had our own private beach. There were nearby trails you could walk near the beach and the closeness to the beach was amazing with the most awesome views. The condo was perfect and it was very comfortable. It was close to a nearby plaza where they had a small grocery store which was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have been staying in Kapalua (the Bay Villas) for over 20 years.The unit was very pretty and mostly updated and the AC worked great! But this place is in need of some interior painting. It's obvious where paint has been touched up - especially up the stairs and on the doors. The low quality of utensils, a melted spatula, stained/dirty cutting boards etc made cooking a bit challenging and plastic tongs are not made for bbqs. But the thing that was most disappointing was the view from the lanai. The photo that is in the listing is outdated. There is no grass and the plants have grown too tall which blocks the view when you are sitting at the table on the lanai. It would be nice if the plants were trimmed down. It looks as if the landscaping was changed years ago. Probably to keep people from walking right in front of the unit and the front door. Also, there are no drapes like in the pictures. Blinds have been installed which are nicer than drapes but let too much light in the bedroom especially if neighbors have their porch lights on. Overall, it was a great vacation and being on Maui is always wonderful.

Beautiful home in a prime location. Was perfect for our family of 4 to go back and forth between Maui. Clean, cute decor, beautiful view of the ocean. Has a small private beach, little rocky hike for the kids to explore, friendly neighbors. Gated quiet community. Would stay here again

The property and location were amazing, and more beautiful than what the pictures showed. We were much closer to the beach than I thought we would be. The location was quiet and peaceful. The check in process was clear and easy. The price for the property was very reasonable, and there was plenty of room in the unit. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

The villa was well equipped, however could be cleaner. The view in the picture of the patio is not that direct of a view, landscaping has taken over and the view is blocked when sitting at the table. The villa is right by the community pool, which is good and bad. Liked the location of the villa and would return.

Walk to everything!

Great location- quiet at night, super clean, very comfortable bed, loved the roomy shower! We loved having coffee along outside on the patio while watching for whales. Don't forget your binoculars! It was lovely to use the folding chairs supplied when we walked over to Kapalua Bay beach to snorkel and swim. We also loved being able to walk to the shops/restaurants/walking trails near the Ritz. Nice to make some of our own meals along with dining out. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return soon! Thank you!

Beautiful property!

We had the most amazing week and one of our best vacations which was mostly because of the comfort level we had at the condo and how convenient everything was. This condo is beautiful inside and out, and when I got there, the pictures didn’t do justice to how wonderful this place is. I’m so happy we went in February as we were able to view the whales from the balcony. We will definitely come again!

Overall really enjoyed the property. The pictures were a little misleading in that it looks like there is grass surrounding the lower balcony but it is rock landscaping not grass. Was a little disappointed as we specifically booked the property for the grass area that our baby could crawl on. Besides that we enjoyed the stay and the kapalua area was amazing! Loved the beaches. Was great being so close to the pool
