Located on the ground floor of a 19th-century building, this suite retains its original architectural character, from the antique transom windows to the original cast iron radiators. We have meticulously preserved the 1901 soul of this former mercantile building to provide an authentic Jim Thorpe experience that blends historical integrity with modern standards.

The Historical Experience
Original Details: The space features 10-foot ceilings and original wood pillars that reflect the building's industrial roots. This is a genuine 125-year-old building with character and "soul," offering a unique alternative to a standard hotel room.

The East Side Advantage: We are located roughly 1 mile from the scenic train station. By staying on the quiet East Side, you avoid the Broadway noise and congestion. Your stay includes a guaranteed, private off-street parking spot.

Parking was easy. Place was Spotless!! Adorable and comfortable. Amenities were wonderful. The only problem we had was it was very warm out and it was stuffy inside. We couldn’t find where to turn on A/C. We turned on both ceiling fans and that helped somewhat so I didn’t bother the host to ask about a/c. The other consideration is it is located on the outside of the shopping/historic district so walking there would be difficult. But it was quiet and peaceful and a lovely little place.

One of the reasons we chose this property was due to having parking which was super convenient. Is a mile from downtown but we loved that aspect and ate at fantastic restaurants without the masses of people. It was clean, cute, confomfortable, well maintained. We couldn't have been happier.

This is a great apartment on the quiet side of town, a twenty minute walk from the start of downtown shopping. It had everything we needed, including a basket of welcome snacks and water. It was handy to be able to walk and leave our car at the apartment as parking downtown can be tricky if it's a holiday weekend and the scenic train is running. The host is a very responsive and good communicator and helped us with restaurant recommendations. We will stay here again the next time we visit Jim Thorpe.

Great stay, great location

We needed a place to call home base while exploring Jim Thorpe and the Lehigh River Gorge. We also needed someplace quiet to work, just in case. This was a great choice for both. Walkable into town, or just a super short ride. Comfortable and all the needs for two people. Close to the rail trail, could walk the short-ish walk into Jim Thorpe town, either via the street or the rail trail. Close to hiking (we did bald mountain) and biking paths. We explored wineries and breweries and the many delish recommendation from our host. Dee and Mark were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to return and explore more.

Multiple reasons why someone should choose here to stay. -Jim Thorpe is a very popular place which means day visitors come from everywhere and there isnt any parking anywhere. The location of this stay was perfect. It was close enough to walk to the main street of Jim thorpe, which means you dont have to worry about parking and you get to see the amazing view along the walk. -You cant beat the price. Places at Jim thorpe actually cost even more then this place. -Dee keeps this place in top shape. Its clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. She left litte treats around and hand written notes. I felt so welcomed. -I felt safe most importantly, it was surrounded by a neighborhood of ederly and families. I dont think anyone would regret this choice of stay! Thanks! lolocation of this
