The Space:
Our family-friendly chalet is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families or groups of friends.
The cabin includes:
- 4 bedrooms, 2 with a queen bed in each, 1 with a queen/twin bunk bed (sleeps 3!), and 1 with a set of regular bunks
- 2 full baths, 1 downstairs between 2 bedrooms, and 1 upstairs between the other 2 bedrooms
- Fully-equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign-in to your favorite streaming service
- Wood burning fireplace to stay cozy on chilly nights
- Wifi strong enough for streaming movies and taking video calls
- AC and heat to keep you comfortable, no matter the weather
Outside, youâll also find:
- Outside fire pit with seating for the whole gang
- Hot tub perfect for relaxing after an afternoon hike
- Grill while enjoying the great outdoors on the deck
Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. Itâs considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!
During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:
- Indoor heated swimming pool
- Large whirlpool
- Tennis court
- Racquetball court
- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball
- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines
The Sports Center is members-only, but weâve set aside complimentary guest passes just for you! Passes will be available at the propertyâcheck the house manual for details on where to find them. If you need more during your stay, simply reach out and weâll be happy to assist.
Pet Policy:
We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, weâre unfortunately unable to host cats.
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similarâespecially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are. The cabin is 5 minutes to Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area with nearly 23,000 acres of old growth forest thatâs full of hiking trails and hosts a large lake. The Hedgesville / Berkeley Springs area is great for so many reasons -- and Sleepy Creek Chalet is just a short drive to everything. The town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery!
