Beautifully secluded and surrounded by greenery, this multi-level home is part of the Innsbruck Golf Club (for which guests enjoy discounted golf rates). Take a three-mile drive to explore the charms of downtown Helen, and savor the fun-filled experience of tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

Your vacation begins in the great room, where towering ceilings, large windows, and an impressive gas-powered fireplace (available between October and April) create the perfect family gathering spot. Light the gas grill on the deck for an al fresco dinner, stack the plates in the dishwasher for easy clean-up, and cap the evening with marshmallows roasted around the firepit on the patio.

Spend your days hiking, swimming, or having a ball at the Helen Tubing & Water Park, and come home to share photos of your adventures on the free WiFi. Take your dogs for walks around the neighborhood (please note that a two-dog limit and a nightly pet fee apply), unwind on summer days in the central AC, and host fun-filled family game and movie nights with the help of Ping-Pong and pool tables, a Wii system, four TVs, a Blu-ray player, and a selection of DVDs.

House was nice and spacious. Had bugs in the kitchen and spider webs on all the light fixtures. One bug was actually in the digital screen for the oven.

No issues at all with the property and the house, all that was amazing. The issue was with a neighbor who accused us of making black marks on the road. Lol! Uh, did you not see there was construction redoing the roads? Claims she lives in the neighborhood there full time and was going to call the police on us. Wow!

Cozy Mountain Home

This cozy house had a nice variety of spaces to spread out. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as entertainment options. We even had deer come up on the property a few times. The neighborhood pool was small, but we had fun playing with another family and made the most of it. They need to mop the floors better, but for the most part the house was clean. We would rent it again.

Relaxing mountain retreat

We enjoyed our family vacation in this beautiful home. The house is furnished with all the necessities that we needed. The communication with us before our trip was the best we have ever had when staying at Vrbo houses. On our day of arrival, we had all codes and went right in with no problems. One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Thank you!

Everyone enjoyed their stay
the only issue was there were 12 of us and not enough beds. There was a pull out sofa bed listed, but none there so two people had to sleep on the couches in the family room. Other than that, everything was great.

Nice but NO place for trash which creates bugs in the kitchen

The home was very neat and close to downtown area. We loved the pool table for the kids. What we didnt love is there was NO place for trash. I reached out to the property and was told to leave it in the kitchen. Well we saw roaches in the kitchen which obviously doesnt make you feel clean. I reached out again and was told to "look for bug spray " There was none!! Ive always stayed at places that you take care of your trash on the front end but not here. This situation put a bad taste overall.

The house was nice and the location was good. There were lots of things to do within a short drive from the main gate. I loved that there were different levels/rooms to accommodate a large family and the decor was adorable! Cons: Roaches & roaches! Floors were still very dirty from previous guests. The TVs were an issue to get connect at first (no instructions left by owner). The back porch is rotting in areas. My mother (160lbs) was walking back inside and her heal/foot went through a board! All in all it was ok. Loved Helen!!!!

Awful Rental Experience

Keypad on door would not work, stood in cold rain trying to get in house for 30 minutes. Did not get fixed until 3rd day of stay. No heat on lower level and fireplace inoperative, super cold for my guests to sleep in. Roaches in kitchen area. Entire house smelled of sewage last 2 days of our stay. Living room TV did not work. Had to use personal computer for tv for the kids. Filed complaints with Vacasa and have yet to hear back from anyone after 9 days thus far. Awful experience through and through.

Booked through VRBO but they passed on to someone else and two fees were collected resulting in over half the cost of the unit. Also, had to sign a gillion forms. Won’t do again.

The property was great and room for everyone!! Close to tons of entertainment. We had to get a daily parking pass everyday because NO ONE ever sent email to guard station!! Also TV in main living room wouldn't connect to internet. Complained about it when we first arrived. NO ONE ever came..

Perfect for a Family Getaway

We loved our stay at the Tuscan Rooster! There were 9 adults and one infant, and there was plenty of space, and it was a nice, peaceful setting for our getaway. The house was incredibly well-stocked, and everything was just as expected based on the listing. We loved being close to downtown Helen but also removed enough that it was peaceful when we were home. We already have plans to rent this property again!

Amazing Family Vacation at the Tuscan Rooster

The Tuscan Rooster was enchanting with the charm and decor of a beautiful villa. The owners were fantastic hosts providing kitchen supplies and spices to enable cooking a gourmet meal. Our family consisted of 4 generations and the Tuscan Rooster was able to accommodate all, with multiple porches and a fantastic rec room with a pool table and ping pong table which came in very handy during the tropical storm. We never lacked for entertainment and loved our stay, and I would highly reccomend the Tuscan Rooster for families!

Mixed Review

The house suited our needs for six women on a long weekend trip. Plenty of bedrooms and room to move about in the house. Appreciated the fact that some paper towels, toilet tissue, dishwasher tablets and a sponge with dishwashing liquid was supplied. All bathrooms and kitchen had hand soap. Kitchen was well stocked but the cabinets desperately need a good cleaning! The bottom cabinet doors were dirty/sticky. We had a real problem with hornets/wasps outside almost all of the doors, especially at night. They were attracted to the lights from inside the house. Although wasp spray was provided, we didn't dare open the door to spray them. We had a few enter the house. Had problems with the TVs. Could not figure out how to work them. The living room had about 6 different remotes! Instructions on how to operate all of the tvs would have been helpful. The basement shower did not work - we could not figure out how to get the water to come out of the shower head. The tub part worked. Plenty of clean towels were provided which was nice!! The outside of the house needs attention. There is obvious evidence of rot on some outside door trim, deck boards and along the gutters. It's a nice house but needs a really good cleaning and maintenance.

A nice old dated little house

This was a nice little house that could use some upgrading as it is very dated. There were multiple lights out in the house. The master bedroom TV would NOT turn on. The ceiling fan light and fan in the master would turn on and off by itself. The couches were in terrible condition in the living room and were covered with blanket and arm covers that would not stay on. Not worth the price. Hairs were found in the bed between the sheets and comforter in the master. Did not check every bed as we did not want to alarm any of the family since we had paid for the house. Front stair case is an accident waiting to happen. So slippery. They also use Vacasa instead of VRBO which makes it a little confusing when paying and signing all of their rental agreements. Not as easy as VRBO's. If we had to go to Helen again we would not stay here if this helps anyone.

It was very nice, we would come back again. It was in a nice gated community with a lot of things to do including a community pool, tennis, and golf court. Our only complaint was we had to haul our trash off to the dumpsters in the community we couldn’t find an outside trash can.
