But the amenities don't stop there! This property also includes a private dock and a pier for water activities.  Enjoy countless hours of swimming, floating, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. We ask that you bring enough life jackets to enjoy the fun and ensure proper sizing for your particular crew. 

Bringing or renting a boat? You're welcome to dock in the slip or tie off. Posts are provided to tie off your boat, jet ski or a rental. You will need to bring your own bumpers and lines to secure your watercraft. The water depth off the end of the dock is 6-8 ft.

Enjoy the one-of-a kind, RARE sandy beach and spacious outdoor areas perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the lake views! The property includes a boat house, a pier and an associated boardwalk just off the sandy beach. Stairs allow easy access to the water. A jet ski buoy is provided in front of of the boardwalk for parking. At the end of the day, share stories under the stars around the glow of an open fire pit, reflecting off the water.

To get you started...
The bathrooms are stocked with courtesy soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.  Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

The kitchens are stocked with one roll of paper towels, one trash bag for the kitchen trashcan, trial-size dish soap, two dishwasher pods and 1 sponge.  You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

A few more tid-bits...  :)

1.  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

2.  Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).

3.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

4. Security Camera Disclosure:  We take your privacy very seriously.  However, this home may be monitored by exterior security cameras.  The cameras do not record sound.  Please let us know if this is an issue with your party for any reason.

5. Pet Policy 
We know what it's like to have dogs that are part of the family, so we welcome well-behaved, fully housebroken dogs (limit 2). All dogs will need to be disclosed, and they must be supervised at all times or in a crate if home alone. Please respect our home by keeping the dogs off of the furniture, inside and outside. We do not have a fenced yard, but there is a lovely open grass area that is perfect for exploring. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up any pet waste. Pet fee is non-refundable ($250). No cats.
