This beautiful 3-bedroom villa is located directly at Lake Hernando near Inverness, Florida. The fully furnished villa is spacious and the mix of antique and modern furniture gives this place a charming touch.

There are three bedrooms each with a full-size bed. One of the bedrooms is below the main living space and can be reached by stairs from the living room. There are three bathrooms.

The villa has no pool, but its location with plenty of opportunity to go fishing, kayaking or just watch the sunset from your screened in patio compensates for that. In the basement you will find three kayaks that can be used - free of charge, but at your own risk - to explore the lake.

Lakefront retreat

The property has everything one could want in a vacation home with the amazing lake views from most rooms. We used the screened in porch many times to visit and eat. I caught fish from the dock and had fun trying out a kayak for the first time. The location is also great with a short drive to Inverness and many good restaurants. Crystal River is also nearby where we went and swam with the manatees which was a great adventure using Explorida for the tour guide.

Very clean but the house needs many small repairs. The outside view is great but there is a UV film applied to the windows and it makes the view blurry. Many nice antiques but the beds need replacement.

Beautiful place!

The house was comfortable, clean, spacious. This was a short stay during cold weather, very easy to stay cozy with the central heating. Great lake views in a truly beautiful spot, mossy oak trees everywhere and facing west for amazing sunsets over the lake. Recommend!

Loved our visit to Crystal River! The house is just as described except the air conditioner does NOT get cold. A little uncomfortable at night.

The sunsets and view are amazing

This house is absolutely beautiful. Yes it’s dated yes it needs some improvements. The air conditioner needs replaced. That should be top priority I would not want to Feel the house in the summer unless that air conditioner replaced. Second the outside lighting there is none that’s a huge safety issue they need to be replaced. Speaking of safety there is one smoke detector and an expired fire extinguisher. The beds are not made For couples. There should be at least one queen or king bed. The window blinds need replaced. But the house has amazing views. I love how the kitchen opens up to the screened in porch where we spent most of our time if not outside by the lake. The neighbors are friendly and very quiet. I would love to see more out side seating available. The house has everything you need for your stay. I would love to be able to buy that house for the peace and tranquility that it offers. Thank you for sharing your home

The view is absolutely beautiful however there were some major cleaning issues The beds were falling apart literally I took pictures the floors were so disgusting that your feet were black One towel per bathroom no paper towels no dish soap and their check out instructions were to put the things in the dishwasher but without soap so I advise you to bring your own soap because I wouldn’t drink out of any of those cups They have a jug of Kool-Aid marked Poison (photo attached ) and a shower that doesn’t work with a towel that would be nice if it was in a bathroom that had to working shower and if you have a child make sure they don’t drink the Kool-Aid because it’s actually poison not really smart hello duh No hand soaps no paper towels Just really not clean Thank God we brought my own Lysol wipes so I can at least clean up Oh and if you want to take a shower forget about it We had to get water at Publix so we can wash our hair over the sink because the water smells like sulfur and rotten eggs Every time you flush the toilet you got this awful smell of sewage The view was pretty they kayaks were a nice touch the air boats were really freaking loud but that’s a guess expected being on the lake If you were going to rent the place maybe update the beds and hire a real cleaner And provide the basic necessities like paper towels,hand soap, and dish soap The garage door it needs to be cleaned And I got a whiff of this disgusting odor Seriously anyways We made the best of it it was like camping we literally brushed our teeth with bottled water and took showers that way I will definitely read reviews before I bought this place I guess there’s not a way for me to attach the photos that I took exit video as well What an experience

Felt like Grandmas house!!!

We loved loved loved our stay. So cozy and relaxing. The kids stayed on the dock fishing the entire 2 days. The home felt just like grandmas house to me. The only suggestion would be 1 bigger bed so couples could share a bed and new mattresses. The mattresses were VERY uncomfortable.

The mattress in master needs to be replaced too lumpy and uncomfortable and had a smell other beds if you touched them squeaked bad. Grass needed cutting. Dead and alive bugs in basement dead bugs and dead frog upstairs. Had a mold smell which did not help allergy's. Water was brown and smelled of iron could not drink it Pros pretty lake and some nice antique furniture has lots of room

Great views

Very enjoyable stay, relaxing and beautiful views. Not very clean, bugs all over the kitchen is the drawers and cabinets. Broken shower had a bootle of cool aid with and poison symbol on it. The house has an odor when you walk in, not sure if it is due to the furniture and rugs or just not clean. Overall a nice visit, delt with the bugs and cleaned up, the view alone makes it worth it.

Perfect Location on Peaceful Lake

This lovely house on Lake Hernando was just what my family and I needed for a quick getaway and to use as home base for a few expeditions. My kids loved kayaking on the lake and I enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake each evening. Everything in the house was well maintained and it was spacious. We look forward to returning soon!

Lake house getaway

We chose this peaceful lake house for our stay during an evacuation for Hurricane Dorian. It's a lovely home with plenty of space to spare for our family of 5. We enjoyed fishing on the dock and just sitting and enjoying the beautiful lake view and colorful sunsets!

Great for a mini getaway!

We stayed here to spend a weekend scalloping and we enjoyed the property. There is a brand new dock where the boys fished from & 3 kayaks that us girls enjoyed strolling around the river. The house is very outdated but it’s quiet and quaint and perfect for a weekend away from the constant hustle & bustle of life.

Beautiful Lake

The lake view, although obscured by undisclosed construction, was gorgeous. The interior of the home was comfortable. The exterior had been a bit neglected. I’m not sure the last time the screened in porch saw a broom or the screens were pressure washed and we felt guilty removing the spider webs. It was quiet and peaceful and 2 of the3 bathrooms were fully functional. (The poison sign in the jug in one shower was a bit alarming but not as much as the caution sign on the deck.) We relaxes and cooked and watched a storm roll in.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and roomy. We were disappointed that the dock and deck were both closed. But the screened in porch was still enjoyable. Convenient location to see all the local springs and still come back for an amazing sunset every night.

Peaceful!
