Welcome to the Ruth House! A fully furnished four-bedroom home with two car garage, located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, just a short drive from restaurants, hospitals, shopping centers, and the infamous Magnolia Market, Silo District and Baylor University.

The space
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials. Available appliances include an over-the-range microwave, toaster, crock-pot, blender, coffee pot (w/sugar/cream & tea): stainless steel appliances, electric stove, dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator. You have the option to sit and enjoy your delicious home-cooked meals at the dinning room's big elegant table, with seating arrangements for eight, or you can make use of the breakfast nook equipped with a table with seating arrangements for a smaller group.

The laundry room is connected to the kitchen and is equipped with a washer & dryer and an iron & ironing board (stocked with tide pods detergent & Downey booster beads, and baking soda).

Enjoy your favorite streamed movies in the spacious living room on a big 58" 4K smart tv.

The spacious master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and a kingsize bed, nightstands, dresser, and its own beautiful master bathroom with walk-in closet.

This home has a split floor plan. On the other end of the house, two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with two full-size mattresses.

The backyard patio has a table, chairs and TV, ice chest cooler and a propane BBQ pit, ready for your outside family activities.

The host and hostess shared their beautiful home with us to use in celebration of our daughter's wedding. Our first night we had a wonderful family gathering with my family from NJ. We sat around the dining room table enjoying family time which included my 85 year old parents and in-laws and sister and her family. This time was so special bc they had quiet time to spend with my daughter before the craziness of wedding activities. The second night, the home provided fun and fellowship with an ice cream social for my daughter and her 9 bridesmaids on the night before her wedding. Then the next day the girls had a wonderful time getting extra beautiful in preparation for the wedding day. This home was such a blessing to our family to provide the home away from home that we needed to make our daughter’s wedding special. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!

Excellent place to stay

Six cousins headed to Waco for an extended girls 40th birthday weekend that just so happened to coincide with Magnolia’s Silobration! The Ruth House was incredibly comfortable and exactly what we needed. One of the toilet rooms was a little tight, and there were only mirrors in the bathrooms, but we made it work! Gus and Karla were extremely responsive and made our stay perfect! Would definitely recommend this property!

Old Bethany Wedding Weekend

Our family enjoyed our stay on Ruth St. It was located in a perfect area that was close to the wedding venue and shopping. The street was quiet and easy to get to. All the beds were comfortable and the house was very cool even on the hot days. The shower heads were amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks again!
