Upstairs are two bedrooms; one super kingsize bed which can be made into singles, and an additional single room. There is also a modern bathroom with a bath and shower over, whilst to the rear is an enclosed seating out area perfect for relaxing after day out at your favourite places.

There are plenty of walks from the door and Willow Cottage is within easy travelling distance to all the major tourist attractions throughout the county. Set conveniently next to a family friendly pub which serves home cooked food, perfect if you want to walk and enjoy a pleasant evening out. Perfectly located for exploring the National Park with the amazing dark sky observatory at Kielder (booking needed) or go over to Hadrian’s Wall and visit The Sill, a great tourist centre. Corbridge, a pretty Roman town, is an easy drive with some gorgeous cafés, pubs and bespoke shops to explore, whilst a little further you will find Hexham with its abbey and a great choice of shops and eateries. Newcastle upon Tyne is easily reached from here and the heritage coast peppered with castles and golden beaches makes a great day out. Visitors to Willow Cottage will be sure of a real warm Northumbrian welcome no matter which direction they decide to explore.
