Bring your whole family or group of friends to this spacious tri-level, walking distance to Lake Hickory. Our place boasts multiple communal areas, indoors and out, so everyone has plenty of space to spread out and relax. Three large bedrooms and bathrooms make our home perfect for large groups of friends or extended families.

Our tri-level home has communal living areas on multiple levels so there's plenty of room to gather. Our cozy den on the lower level includes a gas fireplace, TV set-up, kid's play area, and plenty of natural light. The living room on the main level has an enormous sectional, as well as additional seating. This level's open concept flows right into the large kitchen and dining areas, perfect for cooking and eating together.

We love our home's outdoor spaces and you will too! Right out the back door, you'll find our screened in porch, perfect in any weather. Our fully outdoor patio includes a combination gas and charcoal grill for cookouts. Our fire pit will add a little magic to your evenings in our home.

Our kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you'll need to whip up your favorite meals together. Help yourself to complimentary coffee in the mornings by the fireplace or out on the back porch.

Got kids? No problem! You bring the Pack and Play, and we'll do the rest. We've provided plenty of toys and books for little ones, and multiple TVs so the kids can enjoy their favorite shows and movies. You'll also find kid's plates, cups, and silverware in the kitchen, so no need to worry about breakable dishes.

Our home is ideally located within walking distance of beautiful Lake Hickory. Take a stroll down to Geitner Park to enjoy the lake views from the dock, or access the Lake Hickory walking and biking trails. Glenn Hilton Park is a 3 minute drive up the road, and features multiple playgrounds, a disc golf course, trails, and miles of green space.

Visitors in town for events and games at Lenoir-Rhyne University will appreciate our location as well (about a 10 minute drive). We are also conveniently located near historic downtown Hickory, featuring lots of options for dining and activities.

The city of Hickory is within striking distance of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. For guests interested in an easy day trip, Boone is a 45 minute drive and Asheville is an hour away.

We booked in March for July. Prepaid. we arrived there was no key in the lock box because somebody else was already staying there on a long-term rental.. We had to scramble to find another place to stay after driving 12 hours up from Florida for a wedding.

Stay Away from this Property

Check-in was at 4 PM. We showed up at 7 PM. I never heard from the owner, but received an automated email from VRBO with the key code to access the keys.The code opened the lock box, but there were no keys in it. We called the owner, but no answer. Left a voicemail, never got a returned call. There was a car in the driveway which I’m guessing was another guest? Either way, it was a big security concern for us.The appearance of the house was also rougher than the pictures implied. The sidewalk from the driveway to the front door was broken and missing one of the slabs. Shrubbery was overgrown, and multiple dead patches of grass.There was also a dead tree stump about seven or 8 feet high in the middle of the front yard. I can only imagine what the inside of this place looked like.Had to book another property since we had no access. It’s four days later, and I still haven’t heard back from VRBO regarding a refund. Total nightmare.

Check- in was late because of unforseen issues with the cleaning company, however after it was resolved no one responded to my messages when I couldn't find something in the house. Luckily we weren't there long.

The perfect hickory stay

This was a house that exceeded expectations. We didn’t even get to enjoy everything it had to offer. It was clean, big, new appliances and very cozy. We’d stay here again specifically if we visit hickory again
