This property was exactly as described. The view from the deck was incredible. It was very clean and everything worked well. It was perfect location for us as we went to Mt. Airy, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Martinsville NASCAR race.

This was the perfect place for a sibling reunion. We were greeted with homemade pastries and a sweet note- and everything was clean and fresh. There are so many personal touches throughout the home and much attention to details. The host thought of everything you may need and then some!We highly recommend! ( the views were spectacular also!)

AWESOME! The Quilting Nest is a true home away from home. Upon entry, you are overwhelmed with beautiful handmade masterpiece quilts and eye-catching décor vignettes everywhere. A mix of kitsch, folk, and modern blend to immediately bring a smile. The kitchen coffee/ tea station was well stocked and offered a variety of blends. The welcome basket of home baked was dived into with gusto by my hungry grandkids. The fully stocked kitchen left nothing to be desired. A mechanics toolbox was used as a kitchen butcher block island
so cute! The beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom bidet with heated toilet seat was a surprise and reminded me of our time in Europe. The bathroom amenities were many and included a vanity table, hair dryer, shower shampoo and conditioner, individual facial soaps, and disinfectant wipes
just to name a few. The furniture, wide-screen TVs, and picture windows, all round out the perfect vacation home for those that just want to slow down and relax. The panoramic view of the valley below was breathtaking as well as having a majestic night sky. Bird feeders and food were on-hand to entice all types to include hummingbird food in the refrigerator. At night, the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making chocolate smores in the outside fire ring. Connie and Mary were the best! From booking to leaving, all our needs were met and our vacation was a truly positive VRBO experience. Will definitely book again!

Quilters Nest sits atop a mountain with a beautiful view. The house is clean and so inviting. The beds are comfortable and the heated toilet seat is a bonus!

Relax and enjoy the view

This mountain home checked all the boxes. The view was so pleasant. The home was very clean and well decorated. It was a short drive off 77, a nice distance to escape the rat-race and relax! Greeted with a welcome basket, how thoughtful.

It is a pleasure to write a rave review for this property. The view is absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked into the cabin, we were comfortable. It was super clean. The decor is fun and homey and of high quality. The living room furniture and bedding were all very comfortable. The bathroom showers had good water pressure. The kitchen was well-equipped and they had left us super delicious homemade cookies. The communications with the host were prompt and helpful. I am a picky traveler and loved the cabin; we will definitely return and highly recommend.

Home was very clean and welcoming. Plenty of comfortable seating/sleeping options. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the view from the deck was breathtaking. A great place for a family/friends trip, and would be just as great for a solo trip as well. Will be coming back in the future!

Not sure our getaway could have gone any better - beautiful view, wonderful accommodations, and easy to get to. Thank you Connie!! The place was decorated for Christmas....including cookies!! We will definitley check on this location when we travel next Christmas!!
