We stayed one night just to check out HHI after a trip to Savannah. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to Coligny beach. The room was clean and the balcony overlooking the pool was nice. The breakfast area was clean and although we just had coffee the breakfast items looked good. The lady working the breakfast area was pleasant and did a good job keeping everything clean and organized. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was also very pleasant and helpful.

This property is in an excellent location. Away from main streets and businesses. Surrounded by nice landscapes and water pools. Sometimes you don't believe that you are staying at a Holiday inn Hotel. And the price per night is the best above all. I will keep coming back again and again.

Pleasantly surprised!

I have always stayed at the Beach House but decided to try Coral Sands Resort. Upon arriving at Coral Sands i found my reservation canceled. I used my hotels.com app and found i could get a room at the Holiday Inn Express for much less, immediately. The location was great, the staff super kind and free breakfast great! Only drawback was at 5 p.m. the shower was only luke warm. I told the front desk upon check out and she was going to have maintenence check on it. The room was clean with large t.v. and a Keurig machine as well as fridge and microwave. I will definitely book here again!

Would not stay here again. Check in took forever because neither people working the desk seemed to know how to work the computer and then at 1 in the morning we were abruptly woken up by two kids and a women barging in our room because the front desk checked them in to our room…. The next morning we locked out of our room because apparently they deactivated all keys attached to our room. When I informed the front desk of this incident the next morning they offered to wave the resort fee for the night… so we got $30 discounted on our stay, which did not feel adequate.

Overall we’d stay here again! Property was located very conveniently near beach ands all shopping. Staff was great! We were traveling with a pet and we were concerned the rooms would show it. Our first room had visible stains and a very noticeable dog odor (as well as one of the beds looked like it flipped off the rails at the bottom). Front desk staff was very happy to put us in a different room- which even though it was still on the first floor (their pet friendly rooms) it had no pet odor and was clean. Their staircase the first day we came had crumbs and food on it but it was cleaned up and swept within a day. Their housekeeping walked around in the mornings offering extra towels or supplies for rooms- which was impressive ! Breakfast was okay, they ran out quick but had enough to grab at least something.

Not up to standards

The hotel was difficult to find in the dark. So beter lighting would help. The bed was old, stiff and lumpy. No hot water for my shower, just warm at best. It seems IHG standards have slipped a lot.
