This unit has been owner operated by BBC LandVentures LLC since 2005. The owner is always available.

Enjoy your next vacation at our Beachwalk Villa on the lovely Island of Hilton Head. Inside the private Shipyard community. Beachwalk is the closest villa complex to the beach within Shipyard, just a short walk down a shady path. This Secure Keyless Entry unit comes equipped with high speed internet access and the use of the owner's beach locker.

Our cozy nautical-style villa has an eat-in kitchen, newly installed in 2022. Due to water leak hazards, we do not supply an ice maker. The dining room seats six and large living room with a queen sleeper sofa, Flat Screen TV, DVD and VCR. The master bedroom has a king-size bed bed (Firm Mattress new in 2020), Flat Screen TV and DVD with huge walk in closet, while the guest room has two double beds (Med Firm Mattress new in 2022), a TV/VCR, and stocked with plenty of books, puzzles, and games for the kids. Infant port-o-crib, stroller, toddler's booster chair, and other pre-school items available in the unit. Also we provide convenient storage access via a Shipyard Beach Locker to beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, umbrella and other family beach gear. You are welcome to use the beach locker during your entire stay. We love our family home so please no Smoking. Pets permitted wtih additional Pet Fee.

Ask about our three bedroom Tennismaster unit for family reunions and large parties. We also offer multi week discounts.

Relax in the exclusive, serene surroundings of Shipyard while also being conveniently located to a multitude of recreational activities. Across the street you will find the world-class Van der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club with 20 courts. There are miles of bike trails that wind under the majestic live oaks. If you enjoy golf, you will love the 27 holes of championship golf where you can watch the native bird population glide through the remote lagoons.

The community pool is just steps away from the villa or you can take a walk or bike ride to the beach. We have arrangements with Riding Tigers Bike Rentals to obtain the lowest discounted prices on weekly bike rental prices for our guests. Delivery, pickup, locks and baskets are all included in their bike rental price.

Beachwalk is within walking distance to the Sonesta Resort Hotel within shipyard, where you can choose from three restaurants or an indoor/outdoor bar. Very nearby in Sea Pines you have access to horseback riding, dolphin watching, boat tours, kayaking, sailing, fishing, and great outlet shopping. Something for everyone!

Please note that Shipyard is a gated community. We require ID information for the guest making the reservation and car details for issuing passes. Shipyard charges us the owner for each pass. The owner supplies the first guest car pass, but an additional pass is $30-50 depending on when requested

PEST CONTROL: The unit has a mandatory treatment by the Homeowners Association monthly. If service is refused there is a $100 return service fee.

BEACH PARKING: Beach parking pass required Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pass is provided in the unit, if not returned, there is a $250 replacement fee.

Home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very convenient to the beach. Very clean and it was like home away from home. I would definitely recommend staying here. Bonnie is very pleasant to work with. She answered all our questions and everything was just like she said.

Sometimes the little.details stick

Hot water takes forever in kitchen. Outside Garbage receptical was full on our arrival. Smelled awful and there were maggots. Made it unappealing to get the beach cart thats stored in there. Patio door is broken-wouldve been nice to have that option to go right out on the deck. No grill. We arrived on a Tuesday, didnt get 'checked in' with security with a permit til Thursday. This meant we were not allowed to enter the resort in any other entrance besides the main one until this was in our hand. The box fan in main bedroom was full of dust. Bedrooms/beds/bathrooms all were perfect! Comfortable. Clean. A/C was on point. Being in the back of Beachwalk had its disadvantages with going to tbe beach, but only 10 min walk or 5min bike ride. Easy! The beach locker was convenient, items were definitely USED to the point as ready to break. (Chairs, umbrella, surf boards)

Excellent location, house, and communication with owner

The house was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with spices. Excellent location close to the beach. Importantly, the communication with the owner was great. We exchanged several messages before the visit. Bonnie always responded promptly and with lots of information. Great experience overwall. We would love to visit again.

Labor Day Trip

Had an enjoyable weekend with my daughter and grandkids. Beachwalk 194 was well maintained, updated and well-equipped. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Came right after hurricane so the outside area needed some clean up. Parking was a challenge but the owner forewarned us so we were prepared. Overall, great experience.

Great location and complex

I love Shipyard and the convenience of Beachwalk relative to the beach. This unit is very nice, well equipped, and comfortable. Skylights in master BR may be an issue for those wanting to sleep in or take a nap in blackout conditions, but not an issue for us. The use of the owner’s beach chairs and storage locker at the Beach Club was a nice bonus.

The Condo is Great, but


We loved the condo itself. It was nice and clean (though there are some obvious updates needed in some areas). Bonnie is so great to work with, and she’s quick to communicate. The beach locker is nice (though it is full of provided stuff, so if you bring your own, it won’t fit). The showers are nice and big, though there isn’t much pressure. But all of that was pretty minor. The problem is parking. Parking in Beachwalk is a joke. There is not nearly enough room. We almost never got to park anywhere near the condo, nor did we fit in overflow. We usually had to park far away because it was the only space available. This is definitely not the fault of Bonnie, nor does it reflect on the condo itself, but be warned: it is awful to try to park there. I’m not sure I’d stay again just for the mere headache of constantly having to fight for parking.

Family friendly- close to beach!

This unit is great for a family! King bed in a spacious master suite. Two full sized beds in another room - games (we played Trivial Pursuit) were stocked and a few toys in the condo. More beach toys were in the storage locker! Kitchen was well stocked and updated. Pantry had a small styrofoam cooler perfect for the beach (and just fits in bike basket). When we left, there were at least 4 beach chairs, two boogie boards, two umbrellas as well as the sand toys in the beach locker. Super handy! We had to call Bonnie about a water pressure issue (someone had hit a sprinkler head and it was "flooding" parking lot.)...the condo association was on the job asap and it was quickly fixed. Thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Great Week on the Island

Our stay was perfect. The beach locker made the trip 10x’s easier. We rented bikes and were able to bike to the beach which was much easier than walking.

A bit of a walk

Nice quiet secluded condo. Loved the beach pass and locker! A beach cart is also provided. Condo is the farthest from the beach, but everything we needed fit in the beach locker, so all we had to take were drinks and snacks! Condo is dated but adequate! Kitchen has been updated and is well stocked but no Keurig or automatic ice maker. We didn’t find Kleenex
so bring your own! We love HHI and had a great stay!

Sisters get away

The property was perfect for the two of us, but I could see a family with children being very comfortable there also. Although the unit is older, it was very clean and had a nice updated kitchen. We appreciated all the extras especially the beach locker! We enjoyed both the pool, which was close, and the beach, which was a very quick bike ride or a short walk. Shipyard has very nice bike trails to enjoy also. Overall great week at the beach!
