Welcome to Tranquility by the Beach - a stunning 5-bedroom home located at 26 Baynard Cove Road in Sea Pines just steps from the Ocean. Enjoy creating lifelong memories with your family in this professionally decorated home that features a dream combination of Coastal Home and Lowcountry Sophistication.

The custom home boasts a massive living room that opens directly to the kitchen and dining room, making it the perfect space for family gatherings. The backyard is wrapped in foliage providing privacy while enjoying the large private pool and spa, along with a grilling station, chaise lounges, and dining seats for outdoor entertainment. The home sleeps up to 13 guests.

On the first floor, three bedrooms and two full baths along with a laundry room are available. Children will love the Bunk Bedroom, which sleeps 5 comfortably. The second master bedroom features a full bathroom and a view of the lush backyard, while the third bedroom offers a queen bed with a stunning view of the pool.

The second floor leads to a huge open space that includes a kitchen outfitted with high-end appliances, including an electric range and oven-warmer. The kitchen boasts every gadget, appliance, and an abundance of spices making it perfect for a chef to whip up a gourmet meal. Enjoy homemade meals at the 12-seat plank-wood table with additional seating at the island.

The master suite on the second floor features a king bed, large master bath with a double vanity, and walk-in shower. An additional bedroom is available for young ones to stay close to their parents.

Amenities at Tranquility at the Beach will make you feel like you are staying at your own private resort. The large private pool features a heated spa (heat included) and spacious pool deck with chaise lounges. The outdoor patio area is fully furnished for dining and four chaise lounges for relaxation. The home is outfitted with a 65-inch television in the living room and wireless internet. All the beds except those in the bunk room boast Four Seasons Resort mattresses. The home features keyless access.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with a live petting zoo, and a newly renovated Sea Pines Golf Club. Within Sea Pines, you can find Racquet Clubs with professional instruction, Pickleball, shopping, restaurants, and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters, and sunset cruises.

We stayed at Dan's house for the Thanksgiving Break and we had an amazing stay. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare our Thanksgiving meal and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub throughout the week since the weather turned colder on the weekend. The house is located a short walk away from the beach and our pup enjoyed her walks on the beach as much as we did. The location is also super nice and close to biking paths which lead to all the places on Sea Pines. I would definitely stay here again. 2 families with several teenagers enjoyed our time at this great house.

Great, clean, family friendly spot.

This was an excellent spot for our multi-generational family vacation. Everything was clean and modern. They provided great kitchen supplies and accessories and we were pleasantly surprised at the great selection of kids toys and beach supplies. The property manager was quick and responsive although we didn’t really want for anything. Beds were comfortable and good sizes. Lots of pillow and blanket options. The family area was an excellent size. If you have a really young one you may want to bring or rent a baby gate but overall it was safe and a great size for our group of toddlers.

The house was clean and well-kept with all basic kitchen and dining needs readily available. The beautiful beach was just a few minutes walk from the house and plenty of beach chairs and towels are provided. A dip in the pool was truly refreshing after hours of bike riding around the beautiful island. The whole family had a really enjoyable stay and couldn't wait to go back again next summer.

Wonderful Beach House

We certainly enjoyed our week at 26 Baynard Cove! The house and furnishings are lovely, clean and updated. It was also just the right size for our family of 4 small grands and 5 adults. The walk to the beach was very manageable with our children. We spent most of our afternoons by the pool which worked well for us. Josh, the property manager, was attentive and handled one small issue immediately! We would love to return to this home in the future!

We rented this property for a weekend getaway with friends. The location is great! Only a few minutes from the beach and a quick bike ride to Harbor Town and South Beach. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing and well cleaned. If you are interested in visiting the area, we would recommend this home!

The house was beautiful with a very nice pool and located in a great area. It was a short walk to the beach. You can also pick up the bike trail right by the house to check out Sea Pines. The homeowners as well as Josh (the property manager), were very responsive and easy to deal with.

For Luxurious rental I expected perfection.

Sits beautifully on a corner lot w/easy walk to the beach. The main floor is on the 2nd level w/kitchen, DR, great room and MBR suite. 3 BRs and laundry/br are downstairs. So why only 3 stars? The hot tub in limited to 98 degrees! Seriously? A warm tub that you constantly wait for it to heat up. No coffee in the morning, its freezing til it heats up. The LR has a beautiful sofa that seats 4. Where does everyone else sit to gather? They staged high back chairs for everyone else. Why? (And they have a note not to move any furniture). When they redid the kitchen, instead of discarding the old cabinets, they hung them in the dining room and great room and filled them with junk. The kitchen has nice Viking appliances but all the dishes and silverware are Goodwill castoffs filling all the cabinets. I counted five coffee machines. If you tried to set the table for eight, you’d be hard pressed to find three matching glasses, forks, plastic plates, etc. Why? It’s a million dollar home!!! If the six bikes you show in your pictures aren’t part of the property, remove the picture. That’s deceptive. One of the BRs has the access to the pool, so you constantly romp through the guest’s room or you have to walk to the upper level and go down the back stairs. That’s pretty annoying. And crappy barn doors on a BR? Why? Figuring out Light switches? Wow, I takes 3 to operate the front porch light. I can go on but I’m limited to 1500 characters. You need work to get it to five stars.

Great house and location

I stayed here with a few friends and their kiddos and it was perfect for both adults and kids. Location is great with easy access to a more private beach, close to the beach club and walking distance to the Salty Dog. Lovely Sea Pines Property

Eight of us (4 adults, 4 kids) had a great time at this property. It’s in the heart of Sea Pines with easy bike path access to the beach, Salty Dog, Harbour Town & Truffles. The open floor plan on the top level is great with the family room connected to the kitchen. Made it easy for the eight of us to watch shows, eat meals, play games & just relax together. Despite being close to the neighbors the outdoor space feels private due to the design & landscaping. Kids loved the pool & everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again.

This house was perfect for our family! The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes and the owners provide all the beach gear you will need. Great Time in Sea Pines

Our group had a great week on HHI, Tranquility By the Beach. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. Easy walk or bike ride to the beach via the path a few houses over. Very nice that there are beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, and a wagon to use for trips to the beach. Love the layout of the top floor! Suggest bringing a few fans, or making a trip to Walmart like we did, as the lower level bedrooms got warm at night. The little extras were very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect Family Vacation

Hilton Head is our favorite family vacation spot. This house was the best one we’ve stay in bc of the space and layout of the house. Having the pool was also an added bonus. Not too far from the beach and they provided most of the beach gear we needed so we didn’t have to bring our own. The owners were very kind and easy to reach when we had questions. We will be booking this house again!

Tennis weekend.

We were in town for the state tennis championships. The house worked out for us. One small thought, provide some coffee for guests. The smell when you walk in was noticeable and the window to the right of the stairs needed to have the floors cleaned other than those small issue we hade a successful visit. We would book again.

Dream Stay

We took our annual trip to Sea Pines and had an absolutely incredible stay at Tranquility. The home was perfect for our group with close proximity to the beach, world class golf courses and a beautiful pool.
