The neighborhood
"The Lookout Holiday House sits on Hobartâs sunny Eastern Shore in the peaceful suburb of Bellerive â one of the cityâs most sought-after areas. Just down the road, youâll find Salamanca Fresh (19 Clarence Street), a boutique grocer stocked with fresh Tasmanian produce and gourmet essentials.
Youâre only a 3-minute drive to Eastlands, Tasmaniaâs largest shopping centre, with restaurants, cafes, and the Blundstone Arena nearby â perfect if youâre in town for cricket or football. The Hobart CBD is an easy 10-minute drive away, or you can stroll or take a short drive to Bellerive Quay and hop on the ferry across the beautiful Derwent River.

Getting around
We recommend hiring a car to take advantage of what Southern Tasmania has to offer. There is a great bus service that runs regulating down the road from the house in Clarence Street, as well as the ferry at Bellerive Quay.
