Leuk voor paar dagen rust

Het is een prima hotel voor een paar dagen. De kamers zijn groot genoeg. Sommigen met balkon, uitkijkend over de rivier. Badkamer netjes en goed uitgerust. Koelkastje met (betaalde) minibar. Wel 2 flesjes gratis water per dag. De ligging is rustig en ook niet al te ver van het strand, te voet of met de gratis leenfietsen. Op fietsafstand zijn wat restaurants en winkeltjes. Fijn zwembad met lekkere ligstoelen. Prachtig uitzicht. Er zijn ook wat negatieve puntjes. Het ontbijt is karig te noemen. Je moet 's avonds aangeven wat je de volgende dag wil, en dat is het dan ook. Geen extra fruit, geen extra sap, geen keuze uit broodjes of nog een springroll. In het hotel is alles van natuursteen en marmer. Spiegelglad en je glijdt op blote voeten om de haverklap uit, vooral als er ergens water ligt. Met kinderen levensgevaarlijk. De kluis op de kamer ligt gewoon los in een lade en is door een dief zo mee te nemen. Er staat een waterkoker in de kamer... alleen geen stopcontact om hem aan te sluiten. Wie denk bedenkt zoiets? Dus je moet hem in de badkamer zetten. Naast het bed ook maar 1 stopcontact en geen leeslampjes. Handdoeken worden elke dag verschoont. Hoeft niet. Omgeving is ook saai, maar sommigen mensen vinden dat niet erg. Aan de receptie werkte Anh. Zij was werkelijk allervriendelijkst en deed alle moeite om het je naar de zin te maken. Zij weet wat gastvrijheid inhoudt.
