Breakfast is horrible. Gives you diarrhea because they don't cook their food well. Rooms are dirty. Sheets are gross with stains. Bathrooms are falling apart. Bathtubs are old and never cleaned well with mildew. Room smell like mold. Curtains are broken and windows are Jimmy shut. Services horrible when you ask for anything. Have a complaints and they turn you away quickly. Homeless people roam around outside. hang out in the back by the pool area. Beer cans and bottles around the building. Pool has bad lighting and even lights hanging out from the sockets hanging in the air. When a lot of hotels at night. Seems like the nightlife of alcoholics and druggies seem to shine, and the general manager will ask you to give a good review. Going against whatever it is you've seen wrong there. The old white haired lady is intrusive and doesn't help just wants to know what your issue is if you have one. The younger employees there are arrogant and rude. The water there tastes really gross. Even the one they put out in the hallway. They have to add a lot of ice to kill the taste of metal. All in all good luck staying there if you want to have a good time. You'd have to be blind to a lot of these things to enjoy yourself, but they'll beat you with a smile coming in.

Best value for money in Holland. This hotel is a little piece of Hollands history. We used to hang out there sometimes in the 90s when my high school girlfriend’s mom worked there. We’ve stayed there on at least 20 trips to Holland since then. Downside is it is very dated and needs updating. The carpet and furniture are worn but clean, and the breakfast is very basic. But 5 stars for value, it’s centrally located with easy access to the main highways through Holland with a quick hop on the highway to downtown Holland, Saugatuck, the beach, and Grand Haven. It’s a safe location and there is a movie theater next door and a Walmart and restaurants close by. Super convenient. Staff is super friendly and it has an indoor pool. It might not be fancy but is an excellent value for the money! It also has a large space outside where I let my kids run around.
