A Wave Away - Direct Oceanfront 1BR Surf Condo; Comm. Pool

You'll get the best of both worlds, where you can relax at the beach or at the pool, when you choose this 1 bed/1.5 bath oceanfront 2nd floor condo. This open layout includes a comfortably furnished living room with sliders leading out onto the oceanfront covered porch. The kitchen has everything you’ll need during your stay. Choose to dine in at the table that seats 6, plus room for 4 at the counter, or take your meals outside to enjoy the view and cool ocean breezes. Paved & wooden walkways lead to a crossover to the sandy, white beach and crystal blue waters.

Location: 

Your beach condo is located approximately 1.2 miles north of the Surf City high rise bridge, near the central part of Topsail Island, puts you close to restaurants, shops, Surf City Pier and more! Be sure to visit some local attractions such as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum, which tells the story of our island’s past.

Additional Property Information:

The Surf Condo swimming pool opens Memorial Day weekend and closes on Columbus Day weekend (dates subject to change due to weather & HOA).
Gate/laundry/pool keycard required with a credit card on file.
Please note that Surf Condo units only provide parking for 2 vehicles.
Boats, trailers, jet skis, etc. are not allowed on the condo premises. 
Smoke Free - No smoking allowed by anyone on the premises.
Pet Free - No pets allowed by anyone on the premises.

Trip Preparation:

Rental homes with Ward Realty all have minimum standards to make your stay be as close to home away from home as possible. All of our rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, blenders), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s), central heating/air, iron/ironing board and much more! You may bring your own or rent them through Ward Realty.

Very beach front

As listed, condo right on the beach. Gorgeous views. We stayed at the end of the summer season and some things had some wear and tear but as expected after I’m sure a busy summer. The pool was amazing and the whole complex is great for families. Overall a really good deal for easy beach front

Property has a spectacular view, but listing on VRBO, was deceiving!!! 2 days before arriving, email comes saying we have to bring own sheets, towels, TP, paper towels, garbage bags or rent linens. NO WHERE ON VRBO LISTING SAID WE HAD TO BEING THESE ITEMS!! FOR THE PRICE, unbelievable

Great ocean-front stay!

Wonderful ocean-front stay with my family. Unit was clean, nicely furnished, and had a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for 3-4 adults, or 2 adults and 4 children -- 6 adults would fit, but would feel cramped since there is only one private bedroom. The deck was our favorite place to be for sunsets and sunrises. Beach access was very close to our unit and the pool was great - very large, clean and had nice poolside furniture. Would definitely stay here again!

Will not stay again

Husband & I arrived on a Friday evening and after calling Ward Realty in advance to let them know we would be checking in late, our parking and pool passes were not left in the box. After a few minutes of trying to contact the office, we noticed a Realtors name and tried him. Fortunately he was able to give us a temporary pass but we had to interrupt our Saturday to go back to the office and get all straightened out however never received an apology from the staff. Our first night in the condo we had a large cockroach crawl out from under the couch. Never provided with a number for after hours service/emergencies. This unit is on the second floor and has very thin walls & ceiling. Ever move could be heard by the people above. Will not stay again.

Decent Stay

The view was perfect, the location was great! The condo is a little out dated and feels like there are a few things they could add to make it a tad easier for guests to stay. One example is more hooks in the bathroom, I know it’s silly but with a family and wet suits, it would go a long ways. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear your neighbors cell phone vibrate. I would stay in this location again but not at this condo.

The view was perfect and the condo was very nicely decorated and had all the amenities you would nee

I loved the condo itself, but you could hear the people above us and every morning at 7:00 am, we were awakened by children running back and forth in their condo as well as moving chairs. The on site laundromat only took tokens and the dryers weren't working very well. We spent $28 washing and drying 5 loads of laundry. Most of that was in the drying.
