This classic Topsail Beach oceanfront cottage, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, is a comfortable place to relax and let the songs of the ocean and the breeze fill the air!

Two extra-large doors – at the front and ocean side – allow the most wonderful cross breeze in this traditional single story beach cottage. Step out onto either the covered porch or the oceanfront sun deck to listen to a relaxing wind song created by the whistling sea breezes and the percussion of the lapping ocean waves. Spacious and comfortable, Wind Song has everything you need to relax and unwind with your family!

Sweet Dreams: Linens (Bed and Bath) are not included. Linens are available for rent through Ward Realty.

Wonderful oceanfront getaway

Excellent location. House layout was fantastic. Very large kitchen. Loved the screened-in back porch. Will definitely rent again.

Annual week at Topsail Beach

Great location, able to walk into to town or relax on beach. Loved the screened in porch. No dishwasher, but not a huge deal. Kitchen amenities were lacking, but we always bring our own “can’t live without” items. Overall, great value!

Rustic beach property

Got this as a last minute getaway for my daughter and I. Overall a very fun stay. Definitely more of a “glamping” style property. Location was great with awesome direct beach access and great views. Super quiet and private. We had the whole beach to ourselves after ~4 pm everyday. It was a little weird to me that you had to call to rent sheets as a separate purchase. Also, the air con went out for most of Saturday. Aside from these things, really fun!

Okay

Wind Song was okay. It’s dated and needs interior remodeling. The house has all the amenities and enjoyed the screened in back porch. We are a little spoiled as we have always stayed North of Surf City where the ocean was closer and much easier to get to. That’s not the houses fault. Ward Realty was great to work with and immediately took care of a problem we had. Will definitely rent thru them again. Overall stay was was okay.

Unfortunately never again

We rented the property because is oceanfront and great ratings, unfortunately, the moment we opened the door we were very disappointed. Heavy musty smell, dated furniture,( acceptable if looking for that rustic old decor), very clean...but, two nights in a row found roaches in the kitchen ( after that stopped going in the kitchen during night), some missing lights, some blinds hard to move up and down... Also very very inconvenient that you have to return the keys at check out at the realtor company 5.8 miles away at 10 am. I explained the lady on the phone that we plan to leave the keys inside and stay on the beach longer after check out (since public parking is right beside the house), but there is no “negotiation”, you MUST return the keys at 10 am to the office and than go back to the beach (5.8 mi) or find another place since there are many public parkings (like she suggested). Beside all of this, in the papers you get when pick up the keys is mentioned that you have to clean at checkout, and leave the house in the same condition it was found, (empty refrigerator , all dishes clean clean and empty counter, furniture in place, tv remote on the coffee table... etc, .. We do this anyway (except pay attention to not move things around), but all those instructions are ridiculous since they charge a cleaning fee. Beautiful sunrise and we enjoyed the beach and the porch!

Pleasant stay

Our family enjoyed our stay, the place was spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen. Photos do it justice, the common open area of living room, dining room and kitchen was great to spend time as a family. The main reason we selected this place was that it was ocean front so we could enjoy the beach at all times. For those booking it during the busy season it is right next to public access/parking. We went after Labor Day during the week so it did not make a difference.
