When shade is what you want, the screened lanai is steps away. The beach stretches for miles in either direction from the front of the house.

Inside, Franks Beach House has details that most Gulf-front homes don't bother with. A Bose sound system in the living room. Two large picture windows added specifically to maximize the beach view. The granite kitchen has updated cabinets and full appliances — properly equipped for a week of cooking at home. The master bathroom has a large garden bathtub for the end of a long beach day.

Three bedrooms sleep six across four proper beds. The master has a king bed. The second guest bedroom has two queen beds. The third bedroom has one queen bed. No sofa beds — everyone sleeps in a real bed. Smart TVs in all three bedrooms and the living room. High-speed WiFi throughout.

A storage room holds beach chairs and toys — grab everything on the way out and leave it when you come back. Gas grill on-site for cookouts. Full-size washer and dryer. Undercover parking for three cars. Shopping and restaurants are a five-minute walk.

Franks Beach House requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for three vehicles. Not pet-friendly.
