The new granite kitchen, fully tiled shower, fresh coastal décor, and updated furnishings are complete and in place.

Manatee Public Beach is directly across the street. The shared heated pool is steps from the unit. Hammocks are on the property for the afternoons when the beach has tired you out and the pool isn't enough. An outdoor shower handles the post-beach rinse before coming inside.

The unit was completely renovated in late 2024. New granite kitchen with modern appliances, fully tiled shower in the renovated bathroom, fresh coastal dĂ©cor, and new furnishings throughout. Beach gear storage on the semi-private deck — chairs, umbrella, and wagon included for trips across the street.

Two bedrooms sleep six. The master has a king bed with its own TV. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a 55" smart TV and a sleeper sofa for the remaining guests. High-speed 1-gig WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen for meals at home. Shared laundry on the property. Linens and towels provided.

Dogs are welcome with a $150 non-refundable fee. The dead-end street and the resort layout make this one of the more comfortable pet-friendly setups in Holmes Beach.

Cafe on the Beach, Skinny's Place, and local dining are within easy walking distance. The free island trolley stops close by for exploring all of AMI without a car. Boat and trailer parking available on-site.

Sea Horse 3 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles.

credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

Great Oasis!

We had a great stay! Wonderfully landscaped area, felt like our own tropical oasis. Our kids enjoyed the pool everyday. Appreciated the little touches, like all the beach décor of the place and the outdoor patio furniture. Neighbors at other rental spaces super friendly. I would recommend and stay again =)

Beautiful Island -Never Disappoints!

Great!!

We really enjoyed our stay at mi happy place sea horse. This unit provided us what we needed. Comfortable, clean and great location. The bathroom can use little update but was good and clean. It did get but Essen but AC and fans working together did the trick. The pool was great! Would definitely stay again.

The property was very nice. Location to the beach was great and having the wagon and chairs and umbrella to use was such a nice extra. The pool was nice, just steps away from our cottage. The only issue we had was not having a blind in our kitchen window but the owner happened to be there and put one in for us right away. We will be back

It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach ,which was very convenient. The pool was also great ! We would definitely stay here only small recommendation would be to have a Keurig coffee machine instead of the basic brewing machine . I couldn't justify buying a pack of 100 filters and a bag of coffee for a week for just myself . A small box of coffee pods would have made more sense to me . Otherwise, no complaints at all. It wasn't our first visit to Anna Maria Island and it definitely won't be our last.

Close to everything!

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit and lack of amenities. It was so easy to check in, the pool was simply amazing and a quick trip across the street and you were at the beach. So close to grocery store and great restaurants. Manager Ken was responsive and said loud a/c would be looked at but never heard or saw a technician. However, this place needs a deep clean especially the floors! The light grout is now black and the freezer and shower has rust. It would be nice if the owners would have supplied simple amenities such as salt and pepper, hand soap, toilet paper and coffee filters.

Everything was very clean, owner responded promptly, pool area was nice. We enjoy walking and everything we needed was within walking distance. Restaurants, beach, church, grocery store, shopping, ice cream. We chose not to rent a car, and worked out well for us. The uber from Sarasota airport was about $40. I gave the location a 4 star, just because not much for a few when sitting outside the resort and the road to cross to get to the beach is busy. I would come back!

Great location, quiet, felt like home

Only a walk across a street to Manatee Beach, 2 blocks from Publix and Pharmacy, less than 2 miles walk or bike to multiple restaurants. Amenities were great, multiple beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon were very nice bene's. Pool was heated located just next to our unit, spacious yard for our dog, spacious parking adjacent to our unit. Furnishings were good, comfortable king size bed, pull out couch well used...could be updated...cushions lost their firmness. Ample supply of extra USB ports in bedrooms and living area. Decent supply of house supplies, but toilet paper was only a partial roll...should have at least a full roll. Overall....a very nice place...a duplex but felt like a single unit home, thankful didn't have to go multiple floors, and access to pool, parking and yard space was ideal.... Definitely a come back place!

Easy peasy! Place felt very clean. Love the location and pool. Only complaint is it got hot when sleeping at night (but it is Florida 🤷‍♀) and the ceiling fan in the bedroom with 2 beds clicks making it hard for me to sleep. (Light sleeper here) Luckily only slept in there a few nights when my 4 year old wanted me to- didn’t seem to effect her sleep any. Loved being a short walk to Publix- very convenient. Also all the beach items provided were a huge help! Never could’ve carried all our stuff and a baby without the wagon! Would stay again :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented three of the four cottages for a family of 9. The cottages and location were absolutely breath taking! A few steep to your right and you were on the beach, we you can play sand volleyball, enjoy a sunset, collect seashells (mornings are the best) or enjoy a pina colada at the Tiki Bar. A few steps to your left and you will find grocery store (reasonable priced), liquor store, Walgreens, and some cute store fronts. We took advantage of the free trolly at the beach and visited both end of the Island. Bridge Street, located on the bay side had great restaurants and variety of shops. We saw multiple dolphins on the pier. The house had everything we need and more, the beds were very comfortable and enough seating for a family gathering. We ate dinner outside and BBQ’s a few times during our stay. We didn’t need to rent any chairs or umbrella for the beach. We loaded up the wagon (was provided) with the cooler, chairs, umbrella, volleyball, and football and headed to the beach to enjoy the soft white sand. We enjoyed the pool daily! It was a nice spot to hang out together, play water games, sunbath, hang out in the hammocks, or play card games while enjoying the beautiful view. We hope to come back and fill the fourth house with more families members.

While I have been to Florida many time, this was the first to AMI and we will definitely be back. MI Happy Place was perfect for your family getaway. Excellent location on the Island. I would recommend some general maintenance. The air conditioner ran extremely loud. Not sure if this is due to the age of the air conditioner or if it just need some up keep. I would also say that our Sea Horse units kitchen cabinets are showing age. Some of the doors didn't close all the way and its just time for a refresh/update. Our family rented 3 of the 4 units and between us a few of the beach umbrellas were broken and unusable and the beach chairs are very rusty. I would recommend investing in new umbrellas and chairs yearly. Overall this is an excellent property and we will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a girls' week-end at MI Happy Place and this place was private, well-maintained, and close to everything. We loved that we could walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants and that it is near a trolley stop. It was fantastic having our own pool, outdoor eating areas, and even a hammock! I hope to come back here someday with my extended family.

3 week vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the Sea Horse @ MI Happy Place for our 1st week, then had to move to the Sand Castle for our next two weeks. This place is awesome and so conveniently located to all stores needed and the best part is the beach is right across the street. The pool was kept very clean and is heated at a comfortable temp. Each unit is furnished with everything you need, included beach wagons, toys, chairs & umbrellas. We had many cool days & nights and it was nice to have cozy blankets to snuggle up with. Someday we hope to return to Mi Happy Place.
