It’s paradise

This beautiful home was better than described. The view was spectacular, everything was well-appointed, and the pool was a perfect place for watching the gorgeous sunsets. The house was very roomy for eight adults, and the exercise room/office was a plus. The hosts were super responsive and a pleasure to work with. Such a special place in beautiful Kona!

House with a View

We spent a week here in August 2023 with a group of eight. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos. It is beautiful, well appointed and included all necessities from kitchen to bath to beach. The layout worked well with each bedroom having its own private bath & shower. All bedrooms included king size bed for two, no sleeping on foldouts or futons here. There are two primary structures; the main house and a breezeway attached two-story building that included one of the four bedrooms up top, with its own balcony, and a first floor workout/bonus space. There is a third structure on the property a separate cottage also available for rent. The cottage was empty during our stay but I would imagine voices from the back deck would be noticeable. While the home is beautifully constructed and furnished we spent almost all of our time on the back deck and pool area. The view and space are stunning. This house is located about 30 minutes south of the KOA airport in a well established up-hill neighborhood. This is not a walkable neighborhood nor is there anything nearby you would want to walk to. That said, this house and grounds are the attraction. Note Google Maps will point you to the neighbor's house just to the south. The Aolani House entrance is two driveways north and covered by tree foliage in satellite images. Directions provided by property manager were spot-on.

Fantastic Stay

As the pics show, the property is absolutely beautiful and the views are unmatched! The indoor/outdoor living of the home is so peaceful. The house is well appointed with all the things you need to settle in for a wonderful vacation. From the serene Infiniti pool to the outdoor shower to the Jura espresso machine and the Peloton bike, the amenities are top notch. The art work adorning the house adds to the luxe feeling of the overall property. There is also a full supply of beach chairs and toys to make the trips to the beach easy. The property manager, Heather, was very helpful and quick to respond. Her recommendations for food and activities were fantastic! The following information is not a review but info about the property I would have found helpful. The main house unit has 2 bedrooms inside, the master suite upstairs and another en suite bedroom down stairs. There is another bedroom which is a part of the main building, but you do have to walk outside to enter into that bedroom. The home is meant to be indoor/outdoor living and this is not really a big issue. However, if you have young kids, this might be important information. There is also a separate building with another master suite and balcony upstairs and the office/gym downstairs. This property was amazing.

We were a family of 6 adults staying at the Aolina House. The house accommodated us well. The Aolina has no AC, but it was comfortable with the windows and doors open 24/7. The kitchen is well stocked with cookery for preparing meals. We enjoyed the view and sunsets from the infinity pool and outdoor dining area. The location worked great for us as a central hub for hiking, fishing and snorkeling.

Incredible Property!!

My family of 7 stayed here and could not have been happier ! The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Beds were comfortable, living room couch is like sitting on a cloud, kitchen has quality cookware, appliances, spices and bakeware The bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and the outdoor grill area has everything you need to cookout. The large seating area on the lanai is a perfect place to watch birds playing at the edge of the infinity pool and see the most stunning sunsets overlooking the ocean. The view is breathtaking . Words can not do it justice. Truly paradise. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

5 star experience in Paradise

Our group of 8 vacationed at the Aolani house for 8 days and truly had the best experience of a lifetime. The house is everything like the photos and even more breathtaking in person. Heather and her team were attentive and extremely responsive and helpful with arranging our excursions. We highly recommend booking Chef Justin through Heather. That was the highlight of everyone’s trip! You know you booked the best place in paradise when you were looking forward to going back to the Aolani House after every excursion! The best....

We visit Hawaii 2 to 3 times a year and this is just an amazing home. Our third trip to Aolani House, and if anything, the upgrades to the house (including the extra bedroom) have only made everything more perfect. The views from the living room, deck, pool kitchen are just ridiculous. I ended up buying a peloton after I returned home because of the new gym area (you should really get a commission from them Heather!). Just a wonderful home in our favorite area of the big island.

Breathtaking to the point of tears

Heather, who is stellar and amazing, met us at the property. She opened the doors and the view was so spectacular, I was brought to tears. How grateful and lucky to have stayed at such a special place. In addition to the view, the amenities are wonderful. We were set up for pool time, snorkeling, beach towels, chairs, yoga mats.. AND THE PELOTON WAS DELIVERED when we got there - which made it all the better. Thank you Heather and the Aolani House for making our first plane trip in close to 2 years so spectacular. Relaxing in Paradise

The Aolani House exceeded all expectations. Waking up to the crisp air and birds chirping was such a beautiful way to start each day. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing out by the pool every day. You really don’t even want to leave the house to explore because it’s truly paradise just being on the property. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the outdoor grills are a huge plus. Heather and Miah answered any questions we had and helped us set up dinners, massages and excursions. We will definitely be back and highly recommend booking!

The Home that's a destination itself

I can't say enough good things about the Aolani house. The home is laid out in a way that 2-3 family's can travel together while still having plenty of personal space. At night frogs chirp to each other, and every evening has a sunset framed over the pool. The pictures do not do justice to the view, it's spectacular. When I was searching for a home, I was set on waterfront home, this is the hawaii house that I didn't know I wanted. Being elevated at such a high altitude offers views you could never have on the water. I'm certain we will be back.

Amazing

We stayed for a week and enjoyed everything about the location, house, pool, view, weather, rooms etc. I wished I lived there full time. The detail work of the house and layout works so well. We are coming back!

Beautiful,Peaceful Escape

This house is beautiful! It is stocked with everything you need. Heather was always quick to answer my questions. They were very organized with detailed instructions about everything in the house.
