This is a dated old style motel/hotel from the mid 70s. They still have daily made service which was excellent. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The room was spacious. There was an excellent view of the ocean from the room and there is a private balcony overlooking the ocean as well. The staff was very nice.

Vicki at reception was so helpful. She upgraded our room at no charge. We even enjoyed the local bunny population! Super comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Loved having lots of space in the room! Great view from the room and even a path down to the beach. Best room of our entire 2 week stay.

What a fabulous place! Overlooking the ocean, with private path to the beach directly in front of the first tier of rooms. The rooms are basic but super clean, with coffee maker and big windows looking across the bay to beautiful mountains of Kenai Peninsula. Manager super helpful as to area tips, restaurants etc and Ocean Shores very close to great coffee shops, hikes and more. We stayed four days, loved every minute. And worth noting that in terms of price Ocean Shores the best bargain of our two weeks in Alaska. Highly recommended!
