Everything was great with the room and accommodations. Our only complaints are that parking was limited and we had to park our vehicle 2 blocks away. That was mostly because AVIS gave us a full sized pickup truck and the hotel’s parking only fit compacts. Additionally, there was some noise late at night coming from intoxicated sketchballs hangin I. The zoo parking lot. Not that big a deal, we’d stay there again.

Ja, den Strand sieht man und der ist gleich um die Ecke, aber das war's auch schon mit den guten Punkten. Das Appartment is etwas heruntergekommen. Die Klimaanlage ist so laut, dass man meint, Lastwagen steht neben einem am Bett. Das Bett quietscht (Metallgestell). Zwei der Fenster zum Balkon bestehen aus Glaslamellen, die man nur verkippen kann, d.h. die sind weder Wind- noch Schalldicht. Unten fahren die ganze Nacht Autos, auch mal inder Früh um drei eine Motorradgang oder ein Trupp halbstarker läuft durch die Gegend, die besser trinken wie Singen können. Früh um fünf kommt jeden zweiten Tag die Müllabfuhr und macht Krach. Am Morgen nach der Ankunft war der Honolulu-Marathon, was ab 5:00 Uhr Morgens nicht mehr zu überhören war (wie gesagt, die Fenster lassen allen Lärm durch), weil die Ziellinie etwa 200 Meter Luftlinie von der Unterkunft ist und man natürlich für die Durchsagen Musik und eine Stadionsprecher braucht. Spätestens ab Dämmerung krähen alle Hähne im Zoo gegenüber um die Wette (das müssen mindestens 50 sein). Der Nachteil der Glaslammeln ist auch, das es zweimal im Zimmer nach Rauch (Gras) stank; offenbar hatte einer der Nachbarn auf dem Balkon oder in seinem Zimmer etwas geraucht. Wie Wände sind nur Presspappe, man hört gleichzeitig die Musik von einem Zimmer und andere menschliche Geräusche aus einem anderen Zimmer. Ich werde sicher nicht wiederkommen. Ein erster Schritt wäre es, eine neue Klima-anlage einzubauen und die Fenster zu tauschen.

This property was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of Diamond Head and Waikiki from balcony. Close to beach, food, and shopping. Lovely private secluded pool also. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was perfect! Great communication with the owners, welcoming front foyer hotel staff that stored our luggage as we arrived too early for check in. The hotel is a little older but The room was perfect for our needs! Very clean with a little kitchenette with fridge, stove, sink and cupboards with dishes cutlery etc.The air conditioner was a little older but provided a nice cool room. A small balcony with two chairs and a little table which looked onto the zoo across the street and the ocean to the right with beautiful views! Super location and just one block from Waikiki beach, stores and restaurants! The beach was so beautiful it really was paradise! We would highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a great location, comfortable room and welcoming hosts!

Prime location if you want to explore Waikīkī by foot

Overall this place was nice, it’s exactly as described on the website and easy to get to. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and the beach. The balcony view is stunning and there are beach chairs, pool noodles, and 2 beach towels available there too. It can get quite loud in the evenings with people on the street blasting music from their cars or speakers. It was so loud that I felt the vibration of the sound from the 8th floor. While that’s totally out of the control of the property owner, it did affect how well I slept so do keep that in mind if you’ve got little ones or if you’re sensitive to sound. The toilet is low flow which may be common for the area but I did experience some trouble flushing from time to time. This usually resolves itself if you try flushing again after a few minutes. There is also a plunger available but I didn’t have much luck with that. The tap water tasted fine, but if you want colder water I didn’t have any trouble getting water from the Teddy’s bigger burgers on the 1st floor. Overall, it’s a good place for a good price and I had a wonderful time.

The location was perfect and the room was as advertised. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. The view was great, capturing both Diamond Head and the ocean. Yes, as others have noted in other reviews there was some noise from the road, but that is to be expected in Waikiki at night. The elevators were about the fastest I have ever used and that was big plus. We would happily choose to stay here again on a return trip.

The place is overall pretty good, it’s small and pretty outdated, but has everything you really need. Mark is good and responds fast when you need to communicate with him. The location is great and very close to the beach. The one downside is that it’s very loud outside (especially on week-ends) so bring some earplugs.

Beautiful apartment!!!

I really enjoyed staying here. The location, amenities, and views are amazing. The best thing about this apartment is its patio with a breathtaking view. I had beautiful breakfasts and dinners on the patio and couldn’t take my eyes off the ocean.The apartment has everything you need, including some basic cooking facilities, plenty of towels and some beach stuff as well. The bathroom is spacious.The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness. But apart from that, I can definitely recommend this place and would stay here again without a doubt. Having a parking spot was also very convenient, as it’s almost impossible to park outside the hotel.

We enjoyed our time here. It was noisier than we expected, due to the restaurant/bar situation on the second floor that we were unaware of when booking. But overall, it was just fine.

Love the location view of the park and Diamond head instead of high rises. The deck on the top floor was a great place to watch the sunset and have a few drinks before dinner. Drinks at the restaurants are really pricey so grab some from the ABC store and enjoy on the deck before going out to eat. Or do takeout and eat on the deck. New Target store right in town is the most economical way to get breakfast and lunch groceries
