Spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building in effect. Please be advised: Balcony access for this unit/stack (Phase 2) will be restricted from approximately March 2026, to April 2026, during work hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). These dates are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen delays. Please also be aware that noise disturbances may occur throughout the duration of this project.

Note: This is a legal one bedroom condo because of its size and full kitchen, however it does not have a wall and door that separates the bedroom from the living room.

Location is everything! Most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen, over the marina. Near everything. And the room has everything we need (including beach chairs and a small cooler) I’ve seen a couple of reviews saying the bed was too firm, I think they have changed it, he was perfect

This has got to be the best view in Honolulu !!!!We’ve stayed here at the Ilikai five times and always try to get the marina ocean view. Never get tired of itCondo very nice Plenty of towels Kitchen well equipped. Bed comfortable Hopefully we will be back!!! RV

Great location, beach chairs (Tommy Bahama) great, utensils and kitchen ware well provided, very nice beach towels, bath towels amply supplied, hreat view from balcony. However, the pigeons are a problem, nesting behind HVAC unit. Needed wasing daily.

Amazing Sunset Views!! Will stay again

We booked this condo for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with it! It was so easy to get into our unit and the sunset views over the harbor were incredible. Our only complaint was that the mattress is extremely firm ans has some noticeable body indentations. But we barely cared since everything else was so great. We look forward to booking t this unit again!

Problems with the internet

Location was good, amenities as described. Tiny little soaps to use that barely lasted during the stay. Difficulty getting the internet as the modem and router had to be reset every time the tv was turned off. Called the manager the first day and was told maintenance would come to fix it but they didn’t come til we were leaving.

Overall I liked this apartment. Nice view , very comfortable bed and everything as described. But it wasn’t clean. I found a lot of send by the balcony doors and bed, looks like they just missed that area, and the shower wasn’t clean at all. I found peaces of foam on the walls and it didn’t smell like my shampoo

Beautiful view and an easy location!

The property has an even better view than shows on pictures. Its a beautiful place to sit and just watch the boats from the marina. Quick and easy access to the beach. The pool was extremely crowded during our stay so we didn't get much use out of that. Unit was very clean and comfortable, big soft bed was great after a day of travel.

Wonderful location
gorgeous view of sunset!

We loved staying in this unit, it was very well appointed. Kitchen was very nice and had all the necessary utensils/dishes. The a/c worked as needed, we loved being on the balcony to watch the sunsets, looking over the marina, and eating breakfast each morning. The bed was a bit soft, and the mattress topper had a “dip”in it, recommend replacing it. We would hope to stay in this exact unit when we return to Honolulu in the future, it had everything we liked in a place away from home. Getting around downtown by walking or taking the bus was the way to go. Having hertz rental in the lobby was a real plus when we rented a car to go to the north shore. We picked this place because of the distance to Ali Moana mall and the beautiful sunsets without any obstructions.

I have been to the Ilikai 2 times before. The location can't be beat. Ocean view, close to 3 ABC stores, The Bus stop and the unit itself is home away from home.

Great stay in Honolulu

This property was exactly as advertised! It is very comfortable with a lovely lanai. We were not looking to be deep in Honolulu, so the location more on the north side of Waikiki was perfect for us. All aspects of the unit worked as expected. The rental company made communication options clear. Everything was so straightforward that there was no need to reach out. The property was clean and very safe. We really enjoyed our stay. I would advise that anyone that really wants a major pool scene, this may not be your hotel. The pool is very nice and comfortable, but it more of a condo style pool as opposed to a pool where you get drinks and party. This was 100% OK with us, but just a thought for other renters.

Great condo, not a fan of Waikiki

The condo was exactly as described. Great views from the balcony, especially in the early morning, watching ships arrive and leave Honolulu and Pearl Harbors, surfers off Waikiki. Stores in the lobby and nearby plus Ala Moana Mall cover everything you will need. Negative is that the Oahu / Hawaiian governments have opted to concentrate all tourists on Waikiki. It's a crowded section of city, with expensive parking, heavy traffic, and expensive stores. The beach near Ilikai is heavily used by the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with coarse sand and a rocky bottom unsuitable for bare feet. The Fort DeRussy Beach is a little nicer, but still has a bottom unsuitable for bare feet in most places. Getting into and out of Waikiki involves a maze of one-way streets, with no easy access to H1. Depending on which side of the building you are on, you may need to close the blinds in the afternoon to keep the unit cool. Rooms overlooking the courtyard get a lot of noise from the courtyard, and pigeons come to visit and provide wakeup calls in the morning. Highly recommended if you like cities, otherwise avoid Oahu, or limit your time on Oahu to a day or two to see the historic sites.
