Decent stay for the location

Location was great. Check in was easy. Property outside was clean and nice. Inside the carpets were very stained and the balcony was cluttered. The blinds kept falling down from the doors going to the balcony. The place was very hot when we arrived and took that evening and into the next evening before it cooled off to be decent upstairs. Bedroom/bathroom was upstairs so the first night was pretty uncomfortable sleeping with it being so warm inside there. Overall it was decent. It just needs some minor upkeep and updates to make it a GREAT place to stay.

There was a hole in the wall with something living in it.

The check in process was great. The property looked very clean. The first night I heard bumping and knocking noises coming from the bedroom wall. I thought it was the neighbors. The next night was quite. That following I noticed the first size hole in the wall behind the vase about 3 feet up from the floor. As walked to take a closer look whatever was inside the hole went running in the wall. I called the emergency number and left a message at 5am. Nobody returned my call. I pushed the ironing board and desk against the wall to cover hole so whatever that was could not come out. I removed my belongings from the bedroom and closed the door. I called back after 9 am and told them could not stay there with hold in the wall. They finally sent a handyman to cover/patch the hole. I did use the bedroom for the duration of my stay.

Showing its age and water damage

The property needs updating, but we really wanted to let the owners know that there is a lot of water damage on the ceilings and the place smelled very musty. A tree had fallen on the back patio and stair case. The kitchen faucet did not work and the carpeting on the stairs was filthy. Not sure the last time the owner was in the property, but might be a good time for a visit as the problems might be turn into something really big if they are not addressed soon.

Don’t stay here! So much mold in the air system I had to go outside to call the offi

The check in process was quite easy and I got the keys and drove to the condo only to find out when I open the door the strong smell of mold overwhelmed me! I went inside and proceeded to look around for a minute and my lungs started burning and I started sneezing immediately. It appeared to be clean but there were water stains above the front door where something had leaked. The stench of mold was everywhere and it was incredibly strong! I went outside and called the office and told them I could not stay there! The next place wasn’t much better either! The lady who helped me said “they all smell like that!” Well I’m sorry but I’m not spending all that money staying there only to end up sick! The 2nd place was filthy and smelled horrible and had mold too but not quite as bad. I tried to call other places but they were full. IT WAS A HORRIBLE WEEKEND! Do not use Hot Springs Village Rentals!!!
