Friendly staff and clean rooms. Restaurant had a good breakfast. The view was great, right on the water, but only a small patch directly in front of the hotel to walk by the water. Private property on both sides prevented walking.

This hotel was rated as 4 star, but I consider it a 2 star. The only positive was that the staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms dirty, in disrepair, shower faucet so difficult to use that you are given written instructions upon checkin. Bathroom extremely small, could not even turn around. Additional fees for parking for an unmonitored parking lot is just a price gouge. No room safe, no room microwave, no free breakfast, pool was out of service. I will no longer stay at Hilton Hotels if this is what they consider 4 star. During this same trip I stayed at 3 star hotels which were of much better quality. To end with a positive, the property is isolated, so it feels safer than one in the midst of other amenities and activities.

Staff are wonderful, every one of them warm and willing to assist in any way. Can’t do enough for you. The hotel is tired and old, should never be branded as a Hilton. Bed lumpy, air con noisy and smells, showers don’t work properly and hot water is intermittent. Bay view is lovely though and Fitness centre above average. Staff make up for the terribly tired and old hotel.

Great comfortable hotel

Beautiful hotel located by the lake. I booked one of the cheaper rooms and when I checked in they upgraded me to the top floor overlooking the lake with a balcony. Go see Jess at the bar she is awesome and a joy to talk too. The hotel is a little dated but you can see the care they still put into it. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

I had a suite that was clearly converted from two rooms by knocking out the wall between them. The bathroom, however, was left alone and was tiny in comparison. Not really a complaint, just an observation. My real complaint is about the breakfast bar and dining area. My table, although clean, felt very grimy to the touch. The quality of the food was deplorable. The scrambled eggs looked like they had been in the serving dish for a day or two.

A good place to stay in Clear Lake

This seems to be an older hotel that was probably THE place to stay in Clear Lake in its heyday. Overall the experience was great with no issues. The room and facility seemed to be a bit dated, but everything was in working order with no issues. Good views of Clear Lake and convenient for travel.

Loved our 2 night stay. Staff is friendly, facility is older but well kept, nice and clean. The workout room is wonderful and overlooking the water. The pool is disappointing but that’s the only complain. Very close to NASA and Kemah Boardwalk. Highly recommend it and will stay there again. MJ

Convenient location

The hotel is conveniently located 5 min to the NASA space station and 13 min to the boardwalk. It’s only a half hour drive to Galveston as well. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean overall but it does seem a little rundown. Still, it seemed to be the best option around that area.

We only stay for one night this Labor Day weekend to visit NASA. A room for 4 with only 3 towels, the drawers were loose, you could see the nails, and the worst part was that at dawn I felt something crawling up my arm. I woke up and it was a cockroach in my bed. I got out of bed quickly so it wouldn't jump on my son and I could kill it. This is extremely nasty
