Houston Heights 3 Bedroom Cottage-Elegant, Convenient, Fresh and Modern

This home is perfect for your family, or for business visitors to Houston. It is five minutes drive to downtown and the Washington Avenue/White Oak entertainment districts. A Metro stop just steps away. Convenient freeway access is a few blocks away to take you anywhere in the city from its central location. Woodland Heights is a "Hometown near downtown since 1907", with craftsman-style homes, sidewalks, and beautiful large oak trees.

My home is across the street from Woodland Park, which has tennis, a playground, and bike rentals. Just a few blocks south is White Oak Park, with bike trails along Buffalo Bayou. A neighborhood coffee bar and restaurants are within walking distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was conveniently located to all we were in town to do, comfortable, and clean. If you want a simple, quiet place in the best neighborhood in Houston (my fav at least) this place is an ideal choice.

Great place!

Great space and location! The house was very clean and comfortable. Only suggestion would be some sort of window treatment in the rooms... the paper blinds didnt stand a chance against the June heat, so the house took a long time to cool to a comfortable temperature, and the rooms were bright when trying to sleep.

Great location for a weekend in Houston

This house was really great. There were four of us that stayed in a three bedroom two bath. It was plenty of room. The furniture was comfortable centrally located so we were near a lot of things. We didn’t have to drive far for much. We would stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay! The house was very nice - clean and well furnished with everything our party of 5 needed. Location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Houston for our 3-day weekend. Our primary destination was Minute Maid Park and it was a short Uber ride away.

Nice property, very responsive host. One suggestion, towel rods or hooks on back of doors or in closet to hang towels. No place to let towels dry so could use another time. Will rent again!

Gorgeous home!

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday, and her and her siblings loved the space. We had everything we needed, and the neighbors were also really helpful when we weren’t sure about the parking. Amazing host, amazing home

Cozy Cottage

We came to Houston for the Billy Joel concert at Minute Maid Park. We previously stayed at this home for an Astros game. It is in Woodland Heights which is close to Minute Maid Park.. The house was perfect for our trip. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. The master has an attached ensuite and the other 2 bedrooms use the bath off of the living room. The owner is very responsive if you ask a question through the VRBO app. We will stay here again next time we are in Houston.

Downtown gem

The house was perfect for my family as we came to town to see my dad for his 80th birthday. The house is very clean and comfortable. We slept great on the comfortable beds. The kitchen was well appointed as we cooked one night. Gas stove was very nice. Great location to go to Minute Maid Park for an Astros game. We would stay here again!

Lovely, well located cottage

Finding a single family, AFFORDABLE house for a month stay was surprisingly difficult in this big city. After one VRBO disaster found this convenient, small 3/2 cottage. On a busy street in a pleasant neighborhood, owners minimized street noise & maximized parking security with an attractive remote metal gate. There is a large outdoor music venue close by. Worried about night time noise but it was minimal and appeared to stop 10ish at night. Don't be intimidated by 1000 young people lined up in front of this house 3-4 times in 30 days to enter the concerts. I couldn't believe how little disruption this caused. No noise, no trash, no blocked street, The gate & the young people were a dream. Kitchen & baths were heavily used & performed well. Master has a dressing closet! Host responded immediately & gave a couple of perks. We reserved this property for our next visit.

Lovely Home and Neighborhood

We enjoyed exploring a wonderful Houston neighborhood from this home. Great space for our group. We relaxed in the backyard and easily travelled to areas like the Museum District. Gladly we would stay here again.
