Noisy!

Room was facing the road - VERY noisy!no double glazing. Asked to move rooms but extra charge. Also light came through around curtains. Bitten by mosquitoes - they seemed to be in the room somewhere how ever careful I was with spray etc

Uncomfortable Stay

The hotel is a basic 3* facility, and its principal and only asset is its location close to the beach. The mattress was unforgiving firm, and one never knew when housekeeping would appear. The windows and doors are not soundproofed so you can hear chatter from the hall, the daily sirens and loud motorcycles. The wifi was unreliable often disconnecting, and when it did work, was unable to provide a speed in excess of 5-10mbps, The room rate charged does not reflect the overall quality of accommodation, resulting in a poor value proposition delivered. If you can get the lower priced room options than it is an acceptable budget hotel.

Lovely hotel. Great location but noisy

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy access to the beach down the side of the hotel and across the road from Market Village. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was adequate for our needs both thai and foreign options. Used the gym everyday and it is basic but ok for our needs. Being opposite Market Village was both a positive and a negative. Great for popping over whenever you needed something but very noisy at night with the bands playing. The music is the same every night so gets monotonous listening to it from your hotel room. Luckily they stop at 11pm. Unfortunately it's also very noisy from the traffic being right on the main road. I would say this hotel is not suitable for light sleepers or I would suggest bringing some ear plugs. Overall happy with our stay

The only bad part and it’s not the hotels fault is that there’s a band plays every night across the road at the shopping center until 11 PM and you can hear it in your room loud and clear.

Great hotel clean rooms but a very noisy street. Could not sleep for 5 nights no blackout curtains so the room was always bright even at night. The wi fi on floor 6 was just not there. Intermittent at the best of times. But all in all it was a good break

The hotel is nice and close to the Market Mall. However, the back alley to the beach, and this part of the beach itself, is unappealing. The breakfast was limited and not very good. I tried to take a coffee to my room after breakfast and they wanted to charge me extra. I asked for an extra bottle of water and they had to ask permission from the main desk do I told them not to bother. We ordered pizza and fish at the pool bar - took a long time to come and was not good quality. Weirdly overall we were made to feel like we were imposing on the staff. Room is basic - I asked for a mattress topper as bed was hard. They put two different ones on the two sides of our bed but they were different heights which was weird - did help to make the bed softer.
