the room was nice but the bed matress just sitting on slippery wood keeps falling and sliding off!! light switches only near the entrance no way to turn off on room lights from bed very inconvenient at night in darkness thank god for phone flashlight. Tv remote had dead batteries inside and the fridge was unplugged when i got in the room. the pool was amazing but could not enjoy much as the water was freezing cold lots of mosquitos and hotel sits on a street full of seedy massage parlors...not exactly family friendly....

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room has a laptop safe is very clean and excellent overhead lighting (other hotels are often dimly lit). Excellent location too.

Easy check in, staff were friendly, room was basic but clean. Lots of bars, restaurant's and massage nearby, Market Village, Ban Khun Por Foodcourt also close by. Good area to just chill out.

Lovely hotel, great location

Great relaxed little hotel in a great location. No food onsite but many very good cafes and restaurants outside, a few minutes walk to the beach and many bars, big 7-11 just up the road. Slick and fast check in and out, will definitely stay again

Smile is in a great location, just off the main road. The staff was very helpful with directions and information about Hua Hin. Our room was clean and breakfast had a good variety of foods. Smile is a nice boutique hotel in a great location.

A very clean and good value hotel

It is not the Ritz ,but it is very clean ,the staff are brilliant. It is of a good standard , Breakfast is good but can be a little boring if you are their for any length of time but I enjoyed it .But we've stayed here 4 times and would have no problems staying here again. Easy to get to from the Railway station or from the new bus station , where the VIP coaches from Bangkok come and go price 200 bht arranged through Bell. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach and you are 3 minutes from the Market Village ,where a Tesco Lotus store may be found and in the basement a food court that provides excellent food ,very good value for money. So don't be afraid to stay here , in my view you will be pleased.

Reasonable mid budget hotel away from centre

Welcoming, friendly staff. Decent size room, reasonably clean. Was fairly quiet in the hotel as not many guests but you will need earplugs if its busier and if you can't sleep through the noise of the passing trains. Hotel away from the main drag but easy enough to get anywhere on foot or by taxi. Plenty of massage parlours, bars, cafés and restaurants next to the hotel and it's also not far (10 min walk) from a great evening food market in Soi 88. Breakfast wasn't anything special, pretty bland buffet choice and terrible coffee. It's a reasonable mid budget hotel but I'll likely try somewhere else next time.

I had a fantastic stay at Smile hotel Hau Hin, I look forward to go back there, I just wish I had a sea facing room, otherwise a wonderful few days were spent there and very friendly and helpful staff.
