Summer Lane NO WAKE Cove/FLAT Lot/FirePit/Boats/Hot Tub/Gamerm/Cabana/Generator

Summer Lane is an incredible waterfront property. Our home has a 16 x 40 second floor deck, underneath patio and fire pit area. Take in the amazing view of the lake as you sit in our Marquis Hot Tub with LED lighting. You will love the view from the second floor deck and hot tub as you can see for miles. The dining area seats ten and has a gorgeous view of the lake. You can see the lake from almost every room in the house. The swimming area is ideal because we are located in one of the only no wake coves on the lake. To insure your safety we have added a dock lifeguard shock warning system to our swim area. Serve food and drinks from the cabana on the dock where there is plenty of seating in and out of the sun. There is a large floating dock for your boat, or wave runners and lots of space on our stationary dock. Enjoy exploring the lake as you cruise the shoreline in our three complementary kayaks and two paddle boards. At night enjoy the lakeside fire pit area to roast your marshmallows. Every detail has been taken care of, and the quality of the home, appliances, and furnishings are unmatched. The expansive kitchen is fully equipped with lots of small appliances and everything you would need for that special meal. There are actually three refrigerators for your use. Enjoy the downstairs where your family can chill and watch TV or battle it out in a family tournament of foosball or air hockey. Enjoy the bar area where there is another refrigerator and sink. You will find Wi-Fi throughout the home. This home offers 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms also completely updated with new vanities and furnishings. We have a whole house generator to insure you are uninterrupted during your stay. We are off the main channel of Craddock’s Creek and you are protected by the no wake cove, but only a cove away from the most beautiful part of Smith Mountain Lake. The location is ideal and only a short drive to restaurants, boutiques, and grocery stores. We are one minute from enjoying the State Park Beach and attractions. Memories you make at Summer Lane will last you a lifetime!

Beautiful clean house that was well stocked. There was a gentle slope in the yard that made it easy to get to the dock even for older family members. No wake cove with easy access to the main channels of the lake. Lots of extras with kayaks, stand up paddleboards, air hockey and more. Plenty of parking and plenty of space for everyone. Nancy and Charles were excellent hosts and went above and beyond for our family. Highly recommend and will be renting again.

A beautiful getaway

This property is outstanding. The views of the lake are amazing and it’s just steps away from the water. There’s ample outdoor and indoor space with comfortable furnishings and the kitchen is large and well provisioned. On top of all that the hosts are lovely—they reached out with recommendations right when we booked and were quick to answer all of our questions. I will definitely be back!

Great house on Smith Mountain Lake

Perfect house for time on the lake. Beautiful view from the deck. Kayaks were fun to play on the water. Fire pit is huge and will accommodate a large group sitting around the fire at night. We can’t wait to get back. House has lots of space. I highly recommend this house.

Great stay at Summer Lane

Our family had a great stay at Summer Lane for Spring Break. The house was clean and well appointed. The kids loved having the downstairs area for themselves. The hot tub was great on the cool evenings and the fire pit area was used for s’mores. We saw some bass from the dock but only managed to catch one. Highly recommend this property.

Family Gathering

Our 2 daughters and their kids met up at the house to celebrate my husband's 70th BD. We live in 3 different states, so meet in the middle. We hiked, kayaked, went horseback riding, made smores and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great fall weekend!

Fabulous House

We had an amazing time at Summer Lane! The house is so comfortable and well appointed, the lake is absolutely beautiful and the house has kayaks, life jackets and a lily pad to enjoy on the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Pete at SML Premiere Boats and it was delivered to us as we were checking in. The lake seems intimidatingly large at first but we quickly found our favorite spots like Los Amigos restaurant at Crazy Horse Marina and Mitchell’s Marina for great lunch and ice cream. We’ve already booked for next year’s family gathering with my VA based family! Thank you Nancy and Charles for your amazing hospitality!

Fabulous Vacation at Summer Lane

Our family of 8 enjoyed everything about this property! Good cove for swimming and kayak and paddle board. Easy to dock our rental pontoon. Fully stocked kitchen. Extremely clean house and everything well maintained. There is not one thing I can say that isn’t positive about Summer Lane.

This is our second time staying at this wonderful home for the New Year holiday. The kitchen has everything a cook would need! The home is comfortable and an easy walk down to the lake. We have a fantastic time ringing in the new year at this home w our family.

Highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful vacation at Smith Mountain Lake. This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 10. Everyone had a bed/room, the kitchen, dining and living areas were a great size. The kitchen was well stocked for us to be able to cook dinner each night. And the pictures just don't do the outdoor space justice! The deck, hot tub, firepit and dock were incredible. We took the kayaks out, ate smores, played in the yard, enjoyed the cool fall mornings in the hot tub. Nancy was sweet and responsive the one time we needed her. We already want to come back!

Great home with tons of amenities

We had a great time at your property. The home was clean and very well stocked. We loved the layout of the house. It was perfect for the adults upstairs and the kids having the basement. The outdoor space was great with tons of seating. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks and floats. Docking our boat was easy and it was great being in a no wake zone. Weather wasn’t great 1 day but having lots of games, air hockey, and foosball kept the kids busy during the rain. Thank you for allowing us to stay and we look forward to returning soon.

Quiet Fall Retreat With Plenty of Activities

This home offered a perfect setting to enjoy the quiet fall over the Thanksgiving week. The home was spacious for our multi-family gathering. The kitchen beautiful and roomy. The eating space was plentiful for meals and games. Football and hockey on the big screen. Kayaking on the lake on a sunny fall afternoon was unforgettable. A fire pit made for evening chatting and smores. The whole package is unmatchable. Enjoy!

Beautiful lake front home

House is well located on a cove of the lake. Deck overlooks the water and makes for a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Everything was as described on line and the house was well equipped. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

SML 2021

Wonderful property for extended family! We brought a boat and appreciated the proximity to several marinas. The boat house had kayaks, SUPs, life jackets and a small fridge. We loved the fire pit and hot tub. Layout was perfect for kids and adults of all ages. There were many extras available (from dish detergent to hand soaps, laundry soap, etc) and the kitchen had everything we needed to make most meals at home. Communication with Nancy and Charles couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again!

Wonderful 99th birthday for my Mother!

This was definitely one of our most favorite homes! The owners were incredible and took care to provide for the comfort of their guests. We cooked almost every meal and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of room for children and grandchildren who came to celebrate Mother’s 99th birthday. A gentle walk to the boat allowed her to take many boat rides and lots of outdoor space to enjoy the weather and beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Family Home

This is a stunning home! The view of the lake are beautiful and the outdoor area is set up for almost any activity you would like to do. My four year old got to have his first s’more at the fire pit, catch fireflies, and learned to fish off of the dock. Nancy and Charles were attentive and thoughtful hosts. The inside of the house was beautiful, clean, and provided everything you can think of- we didn’t have to unpack our usual vacation Rubbermaid full of kitchen supplies. My family and I had a relaxing weekend and hope to visit again.
