Formerly a farmers cottage, 2 Hall Lane Cottages is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac in the charming coastal village of Thornham. Built from traditional Norfolk chalk and red brick, this exquisite hideaway has been beautifully renovated to retain many charming original features. Furnished to a high standard, 2 Hall Cottages is a magnificently comfortable retreat within a short walk of the famous deli, local pub and farm shop.
An inviting sitting room instantly welcomes guests to feel at home. Featuring wooden flooring, an open fire and deep sumptuous sofas, this room is the perfect place to nestle into after a day spent exploring. Leading through to an open plan living environment featuring snug, kitchen and dining area, this part of the cottage is a delightful social hub. With a plethora of local produce available right on the doorstep, keen cooks will enjoy rustling up a delicious feast in the spacious well-equipped kitchen featuring an electric range cooker and modern appliances. With ample seating for twelve around the traditional farmhouse table, guests can make lasting holiday memories as food and conversation is shared. French doors open into the garden inviting the outdoors in on warm summer days. A convenient utility room completes this floor. Upstairs on the first floor, three beautifully presented bedrooms are situated. The master bedroom hosts a king-size bed, and is served by an en suite shower room. A king-size bed is also offered by bedroom two, with fun large bunk-beds provided by bedroom three. A modern family bathroom featuring bath with shower over, completes this floor.
Outside, situated to the rear of the cottage, a large lawn garden hosts a paved patio. Fire up the barbecue and revel in dining al fresco on long summer days. Being fully enclosed, this area is a safe space for supervised children and dogs to play safely. A brick shed houses a barbecue and logs, and makes ideal secure storage for bikes.
