Disappointing although value for money

However, it’s very sparse, the fridge and cupboards were full of other peoples’ food, the garden was poorly maintained and, worst of all for a dog friendly property, the garden isn’t enclosed so not dog friendly at all, particularly as it’s on a really busy main road.

Hi Pam,
Thank you for your 1-night visit, we hope you enjoyed the stay.
The gardener visits the property every 2 weeks, so this may have been at the latter stage although I visited and the grass was slightly higher than usual - do not quite agree with 'poorly maintained'.
Re food - we only keep sauces/dry food/tea/coffee as we usually find this is more convenient rather than throwing out. This is up to yourself whether you would like to use this.
The property is enclosed minus the driveway. The only way in and out is the driveway.
I feel the review for 1 night is not a fair reflection and we do not charge high prices, we charge a price that is fair for people wanting to get away.
Hopefully you would consider re-staying in the future.

All bedrooms are at the road side of the property; traffic disturbed some guests’ sleep.
Just had to be patient and take turns when using the toilet, or shower/ bath, as there is only one bathroom for eight people. Useful having one bedroom downstairs near the bathroom. A convenient place to stay. Nice village of Ramsey nearby. Good food at Ale House Kitchen.
