Terrible experience

I canceled my reservation upon arrival due to poor conditions. No bath towels, no bedding for the second bed, no blanket for the main bed, and dirty pillows (one without a case). Kitchen lacked a coffee maker, kettle, or blender. Shower faucet and door were broken, bathroom door didn’t close, and under the bed was filthy. Both AC units were dripping on furniture. Patio had burnt wood and water in the fire pit. Walls were poorly patched, and no toiletries were provided despite the listing. The unit is in a gravel RV park with little nearby. The owner was responsive, but resolving the refund took 3 hours and multiple Vrbo reps. I booked despite past reviews, believing issues were fixed per a conversation with the owner—they weren’t fixed.Although I do appreciate my refund. I wasted three hours of my time on the phone with customer service. I also drove approximately two hours round-trip to get to my reservation. I ended up booking a hotel nearby after this rental was unacceptable. I would also like to add that I don’t believe the key code gets changed on a regular basis for this rental. Which causes me concern for the renters safety.
Under the bed was very dirty.
The shower handle was pulling out of the shower.
No bath towels were provided. Two washcloths and one hand towel were provided. This rental is for up to four people.
This is as far as a bathroom door was closed. There was no privacy.

Not worth your money

We arrived to get checked in and there was no where specific listed to know where to get a key from so we went to the RV park store where we were told we should have gotten a code to get into the container cottage we reserved. He also gave us a phone number to call cause the phone number we were given in our confirmation email was disconnected. We called and got no answer so we went back to the store and he gave us their key as they do maintenance on the units. We got to the unit and went in and it was a mess, the bed had been slept in and towels on the floor and as we were looking around we got a call from the host and he didn't know we were coming, so I told him we paid thru VRBO and we're staying 2 nights. I could tell he was confused but he must have seen our reservation so he asked if the place was clean and I said no so he offered to move us up to another unit...we agreed. We got to the other place and we're told to call back and he would give us the code to get the key. It took us less than 5 mins to get to the other unit and he didn't answer, but called us back a few mins later. The cement platform was about 8 inches from the door with a large drop between it and the frame. We got into the unit and there were no pans in the "fully stocked kitchen" that was in the description. We asked for more towels cause there were only 2 and never got any, the outlets in the bedroom didn't work and the TV had no router or antenna so it was pointless to even have a tv. We did ask t

Bait and switch

When we arrived at the property we had a message from the host that there was an issue with the lock on the property we were supposed to be staying at and that they moved us to a different unit. That unit had no keys in the lock box so they moved us to a different location and this location was totally unacceptable compared to the pictures and amenities that were listed with the first location. The host James is supposed to be refunding us for the rental
